Cosmos Seeds - Apricot Lemonade

Beautiful! Our October garden beds have never been so pretty! Indiana 5b. Even bloomed beautifully in part shade areas (just 3-4 ft instead of 5-6ft for the ones we planted in full sun! Started late April, was in full bloom in last week of September first week of October!

I planted these in early August and had beautiful blooms into November in NYC. They lasted over a week in a vase.

DO NOT BUY! NO PICTURE ON FRONT! You have no idea what's in the pkg. These people do not care about their buyer! They come in a single use "plasticky" coated paper cheap cheap packaging...but it's super slick and has fallen out of my hands several times just holding them. It has a QR code that when scanned has the same instructions on the front which is where the PICTURE SHOULD BE!! No picture when the QR code is scanned. BUT, that would be horrible if you had to carry your phone around scanning pieces of paper to find out what you have. There's not even a picture of the flower when you scan it, just the exact same instructions on the front. How lazy and cheap are you? There's nothing on the back but the company's name. The seeds are 6.99 plus 5.00 shipping and handling and then you have tax. So for 12.63 you get a cheap company that doesn't print the picture on the front. So now I have to go buy a paper seeds envelope and print a picture and try to get it the right size and glue it on there. There's no way that anything would stick to this paper with glue. Baker Creek seeds, Everwilde, Botanical Interests all have a picture and even though Johnny's doesn't have a picture, it's real paper and it has a germination rate plus the date they were tested. Those are really good companies to buy from that are not lazy and actually care about their buyer. Will be returning these and buying from a company that actually cares about their buyer and puts a picture on the front. They're is no sticky part, so you cannot seal the packet. You cannot stack any seed packets on top of each other, they slide. Customer service from Eden Brothers hung up on me.

Great viable seeds. Unusual color, beautiful close up, en mass would be striking, but a lone flower is kind of anemic looking. To look at them closely is intriguing: pale pink petals with yellow stripes. I will buy more for next year!

I didn't think I would get any flowers the plants came up but no flowers, then when the weather normalized these gorgeous Magenta cosmos flowers started to appear. I have had many compliments.

You don't get many seeds but the flower is quite beautiful.
