Very bright! As a flashlight addict I can say you should buy this one. Best other feature is regular batteries, and no battery cartridge to load, Other flashlights use cartridges and 75% of the time loose connection and you have to bang the light to keep it working.

Has a good light. I'm legally blind and rely on good flashlights. As I also bicycle tour I won't go without a good light for after dark and the Dorcy lights have done me good. 4 stars as I have 2 Dorcy flashlights that quit working after a year, but would, and did, buy again. Every bathroom, basement work, and laundry area, and bedrooms have a Dorcy flashlight. This is lighter than the others and feels cheaply made but I am happy with it; I just don't want to drop it. I've tried the rechargable, military style and both didn't work from the package so I stick with good old replaceable batteries that I can get anywhere. There seem to be few battery powered flashlights that give off the light of Dorcy f/lights, but even with limited selection to choose from this brand is my first choice. Again, don't drop them too often.

I've purchased 5 or 6 Dorcys, this one is definitely the brightest.

I bought one of these as a gift and liked it so much that I bought another 6 as Christmas presents. The flashlight is comfortable to hold and its light is bright enough to read by in the dark. It does seem to go through batteries pretty quickly, but the bright light on a dark path is well worth it.

This thing is bright. Typical Dorcy: great light for a good price. Buying more.

Good, powerful flashlight. Last Dorcy lasted 15 years so expect the same for this one. Very bright white light.
