Even better in person, though perhaps a little pixelation on her face screening - it doesn't really bother me, but other collectors should know it is there.Her outfit is unusual, but still kinda cool, her hair is such a pretty shade, very rich in colour and soft.These dolls would be perfect if they had the same articulation as the Made To Move bodies, but they are still fun and photograph well.

My experience with Barbie Extra has been hit or miss, with emphasis on the "miss". They seem to have cheaped out on the face print, which is very disappointing for a not-so-budget line, and especially so when compared with the overall good quality of the fashionistas. The positives, or "where did my money go" are the articulation, the bold and beautiful clothing and hair, and the plastic accessories which will no doubt appeal to their target audience. The little cake bag for instance is really cute.For the money however, I would buy 2 or 3 fashionistas and maybe a made to move doll, unless you're buying for a small child who loves the shiny and isn't fussed about quality control.
