J'ai vérifié dans ma BIOS et j'ai pas de setting XMP ou autre pour ajuster la vitesse de la RAM. 4800 c'est le standard JETEC alors j'ai choisi cette barette pour upgrader la RAM de mon laptop de 1x16 a 2x16. La Barrette d'origine est une Supermicro avec les même Spec. Ce fut plug and play. Juste être patient pendant le first boot la bios va s'adapter a la nouvelle mémoire.

Easy to replace on legion 5i pro. Now I have 32gig for heavy video editing.

I tend to have lots of pages open on my laptop as well as recoding 4K videos so I figured going up to 32GB from16GB RAM would be a good thing. Prices are so low now that it was an easy decision. Installing the RAM only took a few minutes. Pop off the back cover, unplug the battery, and swap the RAM. I was pleased to see that this RAM is R-8 single rank which is generally faster than R-16. Initial boot up was a little slow, as was expected, while the bios updated it's configuration but it's back to full speed now with initial boot up of about 30 sec. The RAM modules are SK Hynix. They are running at 4800MHz DDR5 1.10V which is what my computer came with originally. Like most laptops, there is no provision for overclocking/EXPO so 4800 MHz is what we're stuck with. I've never had any problems with RAM in over 20 yrs. so I expect these to be no different. Recommended!
