No longer do I have to use an upturned rice bowl to make a fancy rice presentation. I use this to make an egg-loo and then a tornado omelette on top. Really impresses the ladies.

I haven't used this yet but i anticipate it will be useful. I bought the corresponding mold from another online store and it functions perfectly, I anticipate this one will as well. I like that the construction seems top notch and it is a japanese made item and we all know that Japanese made equipment is usually top of the line so that says alot. No regrets with this purchase and i expect to put it to good use the next time i cook rice.

For the most part it works...size is perfect and it works well with Jamaican rice and peas. You don't get the perfect shape with steamed rice but my wife is happy so far.
