I use this to mount my Apple AirTag inside the seat of my motorcycle, and it works perfectly. The build quality is excellent — very sturdy, resistant, and truly weatherproof. The adhesive holds firmly, and I’m confident it would stay secure even if mounted on the outside of the bike. This mount is great for things like bikes if you’re in an area where bike and ebike theft if likely. Frankly this product really does deserve 5 stars, but given what it’s supposed to do which is store an airtag, that means most people are sticking it on items that if stolen they want to get it back. Please please, remove the branding, name of the product and its IP rating off the cover. A thief with half a brain cell will see that and rip off the TagVault taking the stolen item with them. I solved this by filing of the words with a dog nail grinder and scuffing the TagVault so it looks equally worn. Just make a logo with a “TV” for TagVault and you get your brand recognition without exposing the purpose of the TagVault.

As title, the only disadvantage is the sticker is not very sticky on slightly curved smooth metal surfaces such as my bike. I peeled off the original sticker and used store bought 3m sticker and works great. Otherwise extremely good product.
