Used - Like New ???
I had recently ordered 2 of these pumps for my backyard water park. These are a great water pump for the buck. I had so many water works and sprinklers going on in the water park that the water guns didn't have much pressure. I bought this one Used - Like new because Amazon was out of them new. This used one was surely returned defective before I purchased it. I screwed my 1" union into the discharge hole and it cracked. just a little bit. I was hoping that it wouldn't leak. After hooking everything up, I turned it on. The motor wouldn't even spin. I shut it off immediately and tried again. After a few seconds I heard it spin with a lot of noise/clanking from the motor, no water coming out. Getting my union back out was a chore as the brass fitting was spinning. I sent it back. Luckily, Amazon had them new again and I bought another new one which is hooked up and running great. Will never buy used again. New pumps working great!!! The pictures of water park are being ran with 2 pumps only. The 3rd pump, not pictured, really gets water going.

It works OK
The motor is powerful but the pump doesn't seem to move water as fast as advertised. It also arrived with a cracked plastic housing. I needed to use it, so I kept it. It seems like there was no tolerance gap between the metal part inside and the plastic part outside... like the housing was a little bit to small and it burst.

Not strong when place 5ft off ground.
This pump can’t pump water if it’s placing 5ft off ground, the higher, the weaker it pump. Pro: it can connect hose and pump water right away.

Pumps water & waters my garden and lawn
So far so good, ran it for a good 6 hrs straight and had no issue. Time will tell if it lasts. I run a 1" PVC line 20' vertical to the connection port. Output to a 100' hose and sprinkler to water the garden and lawn. I did need to use a different checkvalve than the one that came with it. The check-valve that came with it had a fairly stiff spring and wouldn't open up with that much water weight on it. The key to getting this pump going is making sure you have a good prime. I also found that anything less than the 1" input was not large enough and it really wouldn't flow. I tried a 3' 3/4" hose and just couldn't get it going. Priming is a pain, but once primed seems to run great. This is my first pump so I'm assuming most are a challenge to prime. I bought this over some others available primarily due to the brushless motor and portability. I'm hoping this will last a long time.

Horrible experience...
I have to say that I thought this pump was really going to be amazing based on the other reviews and the feel of the pump when I unboxed it. I followed the instructions to the T. Unboxed the pump, attached the adaptors, primed the pump, plugged it in, turned on the power and..... CRACK RATTLE RATTLE POP!!! Pieces of the fam blade started flying around inside the pump, totally shot. Disnt even pump one drop... Dont risk buying this pump. Obviously not durable AT ALL!

Exceeded my expectations
This is a powerful pump which I use in CA for moving collected rainwater from full 32 gal buckets to empty ones. It was missing the adapter for the output valve to attach a garden hose, but two inexpensive parts purchased from the hardware store were the fix.

Good, compact pump.
Worked as promised, make sure to read the priming instructions and follow. Simple enough but makes a big difference.

Good pump, a little loud.
I am using this for a 1000 gal swimming pool. The hose fittings I bought at the big box home store (1-1/4" barb to 1" NPT) fit right in. I am using a 1000 GPH filter pump the pump section died and was removed. I used a piece of 1-1/4" reinforced vinyl tube between the pump and filter. Suction is good to vac the pool using floor vac. The only down side its a little loud. I have it in a dry ventilated box, that cuts the noise a little. In these hot S.Fla. days, working hours at a time, it runs, does not overheat. The noise factor is the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars. Add on, the pump seems great for what I needed. Plastic case and impeller, brass fittings. The problem is they left the drive shaft in carbon steel. As I mentioned I wanted a pool pump. I didnt want to go to 220v, and have to step a 2hp pump down to size. My solution, the pump is fine every other way, so i pulled it apart, I cerakote the shaft, and the SS back plate. Then Tefgel all threaded parts. That should stop the main shaft from corroding.
