Light up my life
Easy to use with a scanning app to capture old photos from slides and negatives. This light pad has helped save many family photos I might otherwise never had seen. Plugs into a laptop USB cutting down on the tangle of cords on the table while using.

Lights up brightly with USB
Lights up brightly and is just what I need to go through my old slides and negatives. I can easily see enough detail to pick out the ones I want to have reprinted. Pad is USB powered but does not have an AC adapter, only a cord to plug into the computer. I did not try out any software yet as far as using it as a drawing pad so I can't speak to that capability, but it is supposed to work like that. I am just using it as a light source for slides and negatives so far.

Should be great for slide scanning. Free scanning software provided.
Seems like a nice product for the price. Packaging is a paper bag that offers marginal protection to the boxed light board. One side of the box had been crushed, but the contents appear to be ok.

I am Delighted with this Product!
I am on a journey to archive 50 year old 35mm slides by digitizing. I needed to group slides by dates before scanning, etc. I found that a single , one-at-a-time slide viewer just took forever and then I would lose track of the dates once I removed, etc. So, I tried this backlit slide viewer where I can lay out 36 slides at a time and easily visualize which slides go together. The unit is attractive, well built and functional. The 3 levels of light are perfect for viewing and the USB hook up is convenient. The unit was delivered the day after order placed.

Great backlighting for scanning old 35 mm slides.
Great, inexpensive backlight with three levels of brightness which I’m using to scan old 35 mm slides, some of which are over 60 years old. Very convenient, with easy set-up and comes with a USB power cord. Works like a dream. Recommended.

This light pad is used for picture negatives. Works great, the brightness selector switch very helpful.

Works great, but it was used and did not include the usb power cord or film weights.
Works great. Good brightness for sorting slides. Saved a couple dollars and got a used one that did not include a usb power cord or film weights. Already had a power cord that worked and I needed it so I did not return it. Amazon needs to make sure returns have all the parts before reselling them.
