There are quite a few of these types of products. I like this one as the mud is lighter and easier to spread around. Less dense. That being said it is doing the job well. My horse has a little thrush area and a sulcus crack. I have been pushing this into the area when he is in at night and after a week, it looks a lot better. Much prefer these products to the old purple thrush treatments that are just so caustic. Plus this stays in the foot even after he has been out all day.

The wife sears by this stuff. Our horses are in muddy pastures a lot and have had some thrush and other hoof maladies this seems to be the good stuff to fix.

I was nervous to get this, but so glad I did. Not only does it work but I can pronounce all the ingredients. It smells great and doesn’t freak the horses out and is easy to use.

Better than most of the other clays I've tried at preventing thrush and actually lasting in the hoof. Highly recommend other than it's expensive.

Excellent product! I hardly write reviews and when I do it's either really GREAT or quite the opposite. This is excellent. I have a 28 yr old mare that loves to stand in the muck and relief herself there are well. Oy! I clean her hoofs and press this clay into all the grooves. It's a nice consistency and smells great. Once a week I get into those grooves cleaning her out good and I can smell the product as I pull it out! A week later. I look, and bam, she's dry. She looks the best I've ever seen her and my farrier couldn't be more pleased. I'm now a subscriber! Thanks for making a product that not only saves my girls hooves but my pocketbook too.

Ive tried several other brands of hoof clay and Pure Sole is by far the best

After battling sulcus thrush with my OTTB for a mo th and half, I stumbled across PureSole. I ordered the Hoof Oil and I loved that, so I ordered the mud. This mud has been the BEST thing I've found. I've only applied it to his hooves twice so far and already there is MAJOR IMPROVEMENT! And since I've stopped using the powder I was using before, his hooves are no longer super sensitive and he is back to letting me pick them and apply the oil/mud easily. He was always very good picking up him feet and such but he was starting to fight me and it was a struggle to get the powder where it needed. I wasted so much of it. I'm beyond happy with PureSole. I will always have the Hoof Oil and the Mud in my tack trunk!!! I am about to order the shampoo now too!
