Super Handy Kit!
I just finished barefoot trimming my gelding, and I’m pretty impressed! True, I didn’t need to use every tool from the kit to give a standard trim, but I did handle everything and found them adequate, and in some cases better than expected. Tools that should be sharp actually are, and ergonomics are great. The kit I received has two double sided hood knives, and they will shave the whiskers off an earthworm. The hoof pick is a slightly sturdier version of the ones we all have in our grooming box. The nippers are sharp and effective, and the rasp, which comes with a plastic handle end, does both coarse and fine rasping just fine. If I ever need to pull a shoe, those tools look capable as well.Let’s be honest, it’s not the set you should gift your farrier. But if you’re looking to do your own work, or keep things tidy between visits, or hoof emergencies, it’s a great set to have on hand.

Decent Starter Kit for Beginner Farriers or To Keep in the Barn for Emergency Hoof Fixes!
There is a lot to like and dislike in this kit. The rasp is really great quality with dual sides for light and coarse, appears to be hardened steel. The handle not so much but will work. The hammer poor quality and did not fit my husbands hands, likely not to drive a nail in a hoof. The nippers, clincher and pliers all pretty good. The hoof knives not bad, sharp and got two so that's handy. He was appalled with the hoof pick but I loved it lol Yes its cheap and will not last but I buy this type all the time and they work. I totally recommend this to keep on the farm and in the trailer! We are very rural and with no access to a farrier in a minutes notice so if you need to do a light trim, scuff or need a quick fix in the event of a shoe turning or falling off this is essential in the tool bag. It will give you the ability to do so. Easy to use even with the inexperienced you will find something to help in most all situations until the farrier can get there!

Quality farrier tools ! Great deal
Very impressed with the quality of these tools. I knew before opening by the weight of the package these were gonna be nice ! I'm headed to the barn today to try them out in my quarter horse who is due for a trimming.I would recommend for the price and what your getting you can't beat this deal. It would be way more from a farrier supplier or tack store !

Good to have for emergencies.
These are good for the occasional lost shoe or a quick fix on a rough hoof. These are not for the professional farrier. But if all you want is to have a good set to put in your tack room or trailer for emergencies, then this set will do the job.

No me gustó el martillo
El martillo tiene la abertura de las orejas muy grandes y el clavo se dificulta para maniobrar

Handy!
The hoof nipper is of excellent quality, with comfortable handles and sharp blades that make trimming hooves a breeze. The horseshoe cutting pliers are also well-made, with strong jaws that can easily cut through horseshoe nails. The hoof nail clincher is a must-have tool for any farrier, and this one is no exception. It is well-designed and easy to use, making it a snap to set horseshoe nails. The hoof hammer is a essential tool for any farrier, and this one is no exception. It is well-balanced and has a comfortable grip, making it easy to use for long periods of time. The hoof knife is also a high-quality tool, with a sharp blade that can easily cut through excess hoof. The rasp file is perfect for smoothing and shaping hooves, and the horseshoe brush is a great tool for cleaning hooves and removing dirt and debris.

Good starter set
I am not a professional farrier, but I do own a commercial boarding stable and find myself having to do minor shoe work often enough. For the price, this is a pretty good set of tools. The nippers and pliers are nice, the knives are great, and the rasp is just fine. The rasp handle is worthless, the hoof pick is cheap, and hammer just has bad balance to it. This would be a good set to get started, but not for the pro.
