see the title of Sugar free, but still 5 gam sugar in the product, how to explain?

We are sorry if there is any confusion, it is never our intention to mislead or deceive our customers in any way. As stated our mix does not contain any refined sugars such as table cane sugar, fructose, or any other added sugars. The 5.7g of sugars per 100g listed on the nutrition chart are solely from the natural sugar found in milk. This is the naturally occurring sugar in milk called lactose. These sugar values are commonly found in combination with protein. The sweet taste in Sol-ice 0% added sugar comes from erythritol, which is a calorie-free sweetener. Can I use almond milk

Thank you for your enquiry. It’s a little tricky to give you a definitive answer, it’s a case of ‘yes’ and ‘no’. We do not recommend using a nut-based milk as every brand on the market has a different ratio of fat in it’s manufacture. This can cause the finished ice cream to become either too hard or too soft. It may also result in a crystallised texture to the ice cream, which is certainly not palatable. Sol-ice has been specifically designed for use with dairy semi-skimmed milk, as cows’ milk, whichever brand, has almost the same or equable standard throughout. Non-dairy beverages are water based and each manufacturer adds a different amount of vegetable fat. We will be launching a brand new Sol-ice Vegan Ice Cream in the coming months, which will be specifically designed for use with a plant-based drink. Keep looking for our new addition to the range! How much g powder does one person need?

Thank you for your question. We just wanted to clarify that our product description states that one scoop of prepared Sol-ice Ice Cream is equivalent to approximately 64g-65g. If you don't have the right scoop, you can always measure out 64g instead. We also provide a full nutritional breakdown in our description, but we don't make any miracle claims. We hope this helps!
