normally a black tea drinker, but I really like this green
This review is for the Xin Qing green tea. I recently ran out of "Melon Seed" green tea and was looking for an alternative. Growing up a black tea drinker I'm slowly learning to appreciate the greens. Yes, this does have a slight "vegetal" taste but I am adjusting to it. On a second steeping today it actually tasted kind of sweet. Balled greens in my experience are kind of rare. I was glad to buy Taiwanese rather than Chinese on the belief that they are probably more adherent to organic practices, especially concerning the use of pesticides. (But do I know either way for sure? No.) I've decided to try their gunpowder green and will review that shortly. Here is a second review for the gunpowder tea. I tasted many examples of true Chinese gunpowder teas and Taiwanese milk oolongs. I would say this has perhaps a hint for the former, but tastes mostly like the latter. It is still a good tea. For a green, there is absolutely no "vegetal" taste, but again, it is much closer to a milk oolong or Tie Guan Yin, if you know what that is. It has a very tiny bit of smoke. I've been leaning toward buying the Taiwanese teas of late because of the bad press about pesticide use in China. The "organic" label is encouraging, but can you depend on it? I don't know. I had no problem with the freshness as others have posted. It was very well wrapped and vacuum sealed. Mine says it was packaged May of '23. I don't know why others insist on freshness. I have teas in my collection that are over a decade old and they're still good, even some greens. Sometimes aging actually helps the flavor.

The perfect Jasmine tea when brewed cold.
This review is for the organic high mountain jasmine tea in the green container. The tea is well packaged, vacuum sealed and protected inside a metal container. The dry tea leaves have a pleasant fragrance of Jasmine flowers. I first tried brewing the tea in the typical gong fu method, but was disappointed by the results. The tea flavor is so robust that the jasmine fragrance and flavor are all but lost. I greatly prefered the high elevation jasmine tea in the white container when prepared this way. However, I decided to try cold brewing this tea on a whim, and the results were fantastic. I didn't weigh or measure the tea or water, so you will have to experiment to find the right ratio. I probably used about 12-14 grams of tea per liter of cold water and steeped it in the refrigerator for around 18 hours. The result was the best jasmine tea I've ever had. This makes the perfect chilled tea for a warm spring or summer day.

Inflammation gone
I’ve been doing this because i suffer from Inflammation. And saw this might help . Do what you should and discuss with your doctor this works for me and my health . AFTER BREAKFAST (Prevent dehydration) 1/2 HR BEFORE EXERCISE (Burn fat) 1/2 HR BEFORE BEDTIME (Weight loss) • 1 HR BEFORE & AFTER MEAL (Prevent fat absorption) When I tell you this tea is green teaing only needs a few maybe 2 or 3 little pepper flakes then opens up . It does have a tea taste not bitter but not sweet. You will be visiting the bathroom a lot of #1 but also #2 not the point where you are in pain but don’t eat greasy food because this will clean you out and I felt cramp . This is a very good tea . Worth every penny. It’s vacuumed sealed and smells and looks so fresh . I personally just throw it in my hot water and drink hot/warm I feel the inflammation going down. Easy to operate and repurpose for a second or third cup that how great this tea is . Not saw dust that they sell at the store will be purchasing again

The Jasmine green tea was good!
I did not get the plain green tea that I ordered as the tea sent me was jasmine flavored. However, the jasmine green tea was good, so I kept it.

Jasmine Green Tea
I'm Chinese, from Tianjin, PRC, so not that impressed with this product. Can barely smell or taste the jasmine. Not worth the price I paid. Would not recommend or buy again.

Bringing the tea from my favorite restaurant to my kitchen!
I've been on the hunt for a jasmine tea that tastes similar to the type served in my favorite Michelin star dumpling and xio long bao restaurant (if you know, you know!). The server was kind to share that they don't sell their own brand, and according to their website, they use tea specifically from Taiwan. After reading all the reviews, I decided on this brand, and let me say, this is probably as close as it's going to get without having to go stand in line for hours at my favorite restaurant! I've tried many other brands and this exceeds them all. A heaping teaspoon in my tea leaf steeper for 5 minutes produced the perfect non-bitter, jasmine floral taste and scent that I've been searching for. Absolutely perfect on its own with no sweetener needed (but if you're one who likes sweetener, I think it would be great, too!). Even made another 8 oz from the same leaves used for the first cup, and it was just as good! Definitely worth the purchase and will be adding this to my shopping list. Now to figure out how to make the dumplings and xio long bao at home to save a little extra money. ;) Enjoy!

A distinct and pleasant natural green :)
A beautiful tea (the Taiwan Green Tea) with a very pleasant aroma and taste! The dried compressed tea leaves fit perfectly in the bottom of the cup, and they unfurl with steeping. I don't even use an infuser or filterb as there's no need. Once you've finished a cup you can leave the previous leaves in the cup and add just a few more for another delicious cup of green 💚 would recommend!

Great quality!
This tea is amazing! Aroma of the jasmine all over the house. Im including pictures of the amount of the tea pearls i used I think the second time I use a bit less I think I'll get about 100 cups from it. Yes, it is a bit pricey, but a little goes a long way. So treat yourself well, do not hesitate to buy. I thinking to buy more tea from this company. Couple hours later I made another cup of tea with the same leftover green leaves and the tea was amazing. Yes, you can reuse
