I fly and occasionally crash foam RC aircraft from Horizon Hobby (E-flite). In the past I reinforced the fuselages with fiberglass tape such as used for drywall. I now attach a carbon fiber bar down each side of the fuselage with Foam-Tac. The aesthetics are better and the planes are still crash resistant. I have (unintentionally) nosedived an upgraded Horizon Hobby Conscendo into the turf and it lived to fly again.

Very rigid, but it has a grain almost like wood. I drilled holes in each end an after bolting it diwn, it split. Twill carbon fiber doesnt split

These are good for acustic neck Renforcement I use 2- rods on each neck one on each side of the rrussrod. I will post a picture as soon as I build the neck

Great quality

These were purchased for a scratch build RC project. Although the tolerances are acceptable, one of them was twisted ( didn't lay flat), but that shouldn't affect most situations. If you're like me you get a little giddy when you order carbon fiber pieces :-) thank you Amazon!

Good and useful Product.

If you plan on drilling holes or shaping radius corders, DON'T buy these. I expected better strength from 3mm thick carbon fiber...these are junk. Learn from my mistake.

Very light and very stiff. For the thickness I was afraid they would not be stiff enough: I wanted to make a bike bag stiffer. I only used one and it’s more than enough. It bare adds a few grams to the bag. The quality is also impressive.
