I bought this to use to keep food warm in my wok. It fits perfectly! It's a very nice wood with a nice grain to it. So glad I bought it. Great quality item.

I purchase this for my Hex Clad Wok. Since the Diameter of the wok was a slightly bigger, it sinks in a little bit. To be fair, traditionally it is also use to keep the weight on top of food while cooking to kept it submerge. So i guess that can still be a beneficial. It does keep the moisture out as it claims when Stir frying. That part i do notice. As for the cleaning, have to be careful with the side. Some part of it maybe sharp. I had to sand mine down to smooth out the edges. Cleaning isn't so bad, but drying it is another story since it absorb water. Also would be wise to treat it with mineral oil like most wooden cooking tools in the kitchen.

Fits a 14" wok with a tight seal, stays cool to the touch on top of the wok, does not retain cooking oders, cleans up with soap and water. And it looks very nice. Great quality, light weight, tight fit, easy clean and good looks. You will like it.

There are a fair number to choose from on Amazon, which is a good thing.. I looked at fair number of these before I chose this one... I've had it only three days; all I have done with this at ths point is to use food grade mineral food to seal the lid; seems to love the oil as it has soaked the oil right in.... I just finished putting on the fourth coat... The best for me was this has a fairly substatue grippin surface for the handle and is cut where I can slip three figures into the opening to lift the lid, and the lid fits my new wok ( I have seasoned it four times as well )... I've cooked three meals using it; and it rocks. Cokoking pork chuck bite size pieces increased the seasoning of it as well; the only draw back was I didn't like the lid they had for it and waited til I could find the one I wanted, and now I have it... can't wait to use it again... The sweet thing is about using a wok; very, very little clan up is required, love it

Overall a good fit for the wok I have at home, ease to clean, and light weight. The wooden cover is nice design and beautiful but after awhile it warps at the attachment site. This is definitely something to think about when purchasing this item.
