Yes ive used this as a trainer, and have only used it once as self defence. I drew it, hooking my pocket on the way out and BAM theres the "blade". Sure to make the pesky walmart hassler leave you alone without even connecting a strike. Im sure it works a lot like brass knuckles but with everyone carrying guns, dont rely on this for life or death preperations. Very fun to train with however, as you can connect blows without hurting your buddy.

Looked just like the picture, it looked real. I liked that it was blunt, that it didn't have a pointed tip, and it looked and felt like a real one, great safe collectable.

the only draw back is the clips are set for left handed draws. to switch the clip takes a star driver ,maybe 2 of them. because one of these i got had 2 different size star head screws on it. the screw stripped out trying to take off and had to be worked with a lot to get it out and back in. the knife is a great product and a great price. fast shipping.

Feels a little heavier than a real one but it works great.

The media could not be loaded. Overall, I’m happy with this purchase (love the click sound it makes). However, after a week or two, the lock goes too far right and doesn’t really work. Since this is just a trainer, that’s OK but it would be nice to a solid lock mechanism.

Excellent trainer for the price.

I sometimes carry this just as a tool for self-defense. It is less lethal, but can certainly do the job for submissions and locks. Still, if used to "incapacitate", it can still be effective.
