I literally have no idea why you'd own these. It's no good for anything. It's a chocolate teapot it can't hold anything. But the Mrs tells me it's a bargain and they're lovely so I just smile and wave.

This is a set of 2 black silhouette vases. I got them to put my lego flowers in but the vases were a bit too tall. The vases are easy to place the flowers in and the vases themselves are sturdy and pretty to look at. As they are a metal frame I found that when holding them there was almost an optical illusion making it look like they were bent but when stood on the table with the flowers propped on the edge they looked fab.

Guaranteed to get a second look when people spot them, these Minimalist Outline Vases are a visual pun that actually works, in real life as well as in photos. That said you need to be in front of them to get the best effect and as you move to the sides the 'trompe l'oeil' effect becomes obvious, which is worth bearing in mind when deciding where to put them. They come simply boxed, with each wrapped in brown paper and nested one inside the other so the box is as small as possible. You can use them to hold dried flowers or, even better, some silhouette or cut-out flowers or branches but then the whole thing can become a bit top-heavy if you're not careful and too instable. The real pleasure for me is the minimalism and I liked them best left empty and next to a lamp so you see a lit wall behind them and the witty visual pun is most visible - that works well on a windowsill too. Simple but clever and a really original and quirky gift.

I was very drawn to these vases I new as soon as I saw them that I had to have them. They are sondifferent and unique I've never seen anything like them. They are so simple just made out of plain black metal but wow make a huge impact they are definatly the focus point of a room need to be displayed pride of place. I've tried a few different flowers in them but haven't found the perfect ones yet. I feel.like I need something simple as something to over the tip would just clash against the vase. I also feel artificial single flower is the way to go with these.

I love these silhouette vases; they are so unusual and eyecatching. They look just as good on their own as they do with some artificial flowers in them. You get a pack of two metal ‘vases’; one is shorter (approximately 20cm) and ginger jar shaped and the other is tall (approximately 24cm) and narrow like a bud vase. I was surprised how big they are and found that a lot of my artificial flowers didn’t fit but my tulips look good in the shorter vase. Very well made and good value for money (£17.99 at the time of review), they are fabulous. Very highly recommended.

I've never seen this style of vase before however it's simplicity caught my eye. What I like? Breaks the mould, from the monotony of matching glass/clay vase sets Industrial look and feel, nice weight is sturdy Shadow creates depth. It's appearance is both 2d and 3d, depending on the angle you look at it. What I dislike? Not all dried or fake flowers will sit at the angle you desire. If not styled intentionally it can look tacky and cheap. Cartoonish.

These cases are so nice and simple. They are just black outline but very artistic. They look nice enough even without any flowers. One thing you need to be aware is they suit for longer stem flowers. That is why they are described as pampas grass set. I only have some short stem artificial flowers but I will buy some flowers matching these cases as I do like them.
