Durable
Cute little flashlight, personally i like the old one button version better but i still love it, i take it everywhere. Their also very durably, my flashlight fell out of my pocket, got run over, and was in the road for 3 days baking in the sun, it was a little deformed, but it still worked with an AAA battery, tho the rechargeable battery doesn’t work anymore, i think it got unhooked or something when it got run over, but the little guy is still trucking along

Nifty little flashlight
I'm an admited flashlight enjoyer. I have a small collection spanning over a decade. This little duel fuel light has been on my radar for a while. What I like:- Dual fuel option, with a replaceable battery when in a pinch.- Dual emitters, provides better efficiency than a single emitter pushed to equivalent light output.- Nice and compact given the features onboard.- Decent runtime for the given output levels in a light of this size.- Stainless steel buttons with raised protection ring to keep them from being pressed inadvertently in a pocket.- Auto-changeover when one or the other battery is depleted. What I feel uncertain of:- Pivoting head remaining water resistant over time and repeated openings to change the battery.- Long term durability on a keychain or in a pocket.- Not overly fond of the polymer body. I did purchase this version, of course. But I was not expecting to feel so lacking. I'm sure it will survive a lot of moderate use regardless.- The latching mechanism for the head snaps over a very small nub on the plastic body. My latch is twisted to the side slightly right out of the box. Pushing the latch down onto the nub is very soft. It holds, technically, but I do not see the nub lasting for long. Hopefully RovyVon will provide good warranty support in the case of failure. What I dislike:- The exposed USB port. Yes it has a protection flap over it, but we all know those flaps don't stay in their slot. This flap will surely get ripped right out at some point when pulling a keychain or the light itself out of your pocket. RovyVon acknowledges this by sending a spare flap with all their lights. A nice touch for sure, but could be mitigated with better port placement. A better location would be on the tail end of the light where the keyring attaches.- The UI. I have many lights with various user interfaces. I can not understand why a light with 2 buttons could be so annoying to use. This E1 UI is not well thought out. And it does not behave like the rest of their product line. Frustrating.- The TIR optics are flush with the face of the light. Because the optic is plastic, this means it will easily be impacted and scratched up with keys or other items banging around in a pocket. At the least they could have provided a small rubber cap or something to keep it protected.- No magnets. I understand many people don't want magnets on their lights. However it can be a vital feature to those that prefer to have them. On the Aurora series, RovyVon solved this by including not one, but TWO clip on magnets with every light. One clips on the tail, the other is embedded into the pocketclip. Why not provide the same feature for the E series lights?- Brightness on the removable battery. I understand RovyVon did this to extend the runtime for the less energy dense cell chemistry of the AAA. And also a limitation of current output of those cell chemistries. But a maximum of 100 lumen on the AAA is kind of weak. At least give us a momentary turbo option of 250 or 350.Overall I like the light. However it won't be taking the Nitecore Tip 2's spot on my keychain yet.

Perfect EDC
Used a Duracell AAA. Worked fine. Tired a AAA Coast rechargeable type C and it was a tight fit. It worked too. Just had to slap it out because it got stuck but I managed to get it out. Overall I'm very happy. Been using it every day. Or should I say every night? Either way it's great brightness for the small solid build quality.

Great light!
These are great little lights for EDC. I have one and bought one for the wife. Very simple to use and because it's flat she shouldn't roll off the table or nightstand. The multi-power source is a great option for extended use.

Amazing micro flashlight…
Very happy with the product that I purchased… couple of downsides this does not come with a cord to charge the flashlight, so you will need a micro c cord in addition to a rechargeable flashlight to charge the flashlight. Great quality and amazing once you ad the battery and charger cord.

This thing is awesome
I don't usually write product reviews unless something is bad, this could not be better. This thing is amazing. Probably brighter than one of my older cars headlights. memory function is awesome. 10/10.

Small and blindingly powerful
The media could not be loaded. I've carried a quality pocket flashlight on my keychain since twisting my knee on an ill-fated, impromptu hike down a trail with an abrupt three-foot drop that I didn't see until too late. Early lights had primitive LEDs with 9V batteries, and later lights had better LEDs with Lithium cells. Usually, I wouldn't consider a conventional AAA cell because of its low voltage, current, and capacity, but this RovyVon flashlight does well using it as a backup power source. This "Angel Eyes" flashlight comes with a built-in 300mAh Lipo battery that I charge via the USB-C port with my cable. The higher-level versions of this light are brighter, but I think that additional brightness is entirely unnecessary. Even when testing with my eyes tightly shut, the seven hundred lumens feel like looking into the sun. Even an accidental glance at a reflected beam makes me see spots. There is a strobe mode if you want to use this defensively to momentarily blind a bad guy (as long as you duck and run as part of that strategy). All this blazing magic is made possible by the tiny, 3V, 300mAh Lipo battery which runs out quickly at high brightness. The typical 800mAH, 1.5V alkaline AAA has a longer runtime but provides only normal performance. The controls on this are cumbersome, and the printed instructions are terrible, but the essential operation is simple, and you will want to play with this anyhow. A light tap on the front button can provide dim moonlight, helpful in finding something on the car's floor at night. Pressing and holding the back button energizes the blinding light, so don't get these functions confused while driving. Other modes are harder to find but involve various tap, double-tap, and triple-tap combinations involving the two buttons. Tapping a button will show you which battery you are using, and they automatically switch to the stronger cell if one gets low.The instructions make only a sparse mention of the AAA battery installation. To install, unfasten the metal clip on the side of the flashlight and gently TURN the flashlight head to expose the battery compartment (see my picture).Overall, I think this is a great keychain light, and it comes with a hat-brim clip, a spare USB hatch cover, and a couple of keyrings, but you must provide a USB-C charging cable.
