Great hair clipper – charges quickly and works smoothly. The blades are sharp and leave no uneven spots, making it easy to get a clean, professional-looking haircut even without experience. It comes with many different guards; I mostly use #3 and #4, though a short guide explaining each one would have been very helpful. The clipper feels light in the hand but still solid and well-built, not like a toy. Overall, very practical, efficient, and highly recommended.

I started cutting my husband's hair since 2020 covid days, when everything closed down. Now I am forever his barber and as someone who cuts hair at home every few weeks for him, I was looking for a reliable clipper that didn’t die halfway through a haircut. The Wahl Lithium Ion Pro totally delivered—it feels like a professional tool without the bulky size or price tag. What I Like: 1. Powerful motor – This clipper doesn’t snag or pull. It glides through thick hair easily, even after a few weeks of growth. I’ve used it for full haircuts, fades, and beard touch-ups, and it handles everything smoothly. 2. Long battery life – This is the best part for me. A full charge lasts for multiple cuts (Wahl says 2+ hours, and I believe it). I’ve done three full haircuts on one charge and still had juice left. And if I forget to charge, the quick-charge feature gives enough power in just a few minutes. 3. Attachments galore – It comes with a full set of guards (from 1/16” to 1”), plus ear tapers, blade oil, a cleaning brush, and a sturdy storage case. Everything you need is included. 4. Cordless freedom – Being cordless makes it so much easier to move around and cut from all angles, especially with kids. The clippers also feel well-balanced—not too heavy, not too light. A Few Notes: The clipper is a little louder than I expected, especially when fully charged, but it’s not annoying—just something to note if you’re sensitive to sound. The included scissors aren’t the best quality, but they’re fine for trimming bangs or cleaning up edges. Final Verdict: This Wahl clipper is a must-have for at-home grooming. Whether you’re a beginner or experienced with DIY haircuts, the Lithium Ion Pro gives great results with zero stress. Overall and so far I am very happy with this Wahl. I started cutting my own hair and my son’s during Covid with an inexpensive off-brand unit. I was happy with that one as well but the battery charge and life finally gave out. I definitely got my worth from it compared to dozens of trips to the haircutter at $20.00 each. I confident I’ll get the same or better with this Wahl. Taking the main unit out of the box: It looks and feels well-built. It’s not overyly heavy but also does not feel like a cheap unit with a small battery and a light cheap motor. It has a nice tapered shape that fits your hand – but the housing is a little on the slick side. I’m thinking about what I might be able to put around it to make it less slick and prone to a drop. Speaking of “drop” concerns: Although the “on-off” switch and the toggle for the blade depth have a quality feel I think they could get snapped off if the unit was dropped onto a hard floor. The cutting guards: I really like the 12 shape and depth options. Some reviewers say they are cheap and break easily. I’ve pushed and bent a few more than should happen during normal use and don’t agree. They might get brittle after many years but aside from that I think you would have to drop and step on one for a break. Accessories: For the price quite a few are added and they are decent quality if you are not cutting professionally full-time (large cleaning brush, barber comb, styling comb, scissors, blade guard, small cleaning brush, blade oil). The carrying case: As others have noted it’s just a case that does not provide any organization. It’s not worthless though and hard to complain for the price. Charging: Some reviewers don’t like the charging cord is USB instead of an AC pack. It is, though, one less that could end up in a landfill and probably keeps the price lower. The downside is charging is probably a little slower. Also, the charging plug connection at the base of the unit is not standard. Booo. You, however, can buy a charging cable with AC pack for around $10.00. I don’t have a “dead to full charge” time but will add that to the review once I do. Performance: I spent between 20-25 minutes cutting my hair and it has plenty of power and sharpness; I did not experience any pulling. It did not slow down or show any signs of using up the charge. Afterwards it charged back to 100% via USB in 30 minutes or less. The variety of guards really helped me cut evenly. So, overall, I am happy I can do a good cut. If I get 5 years from this Wahl like I did from my previous no-name unit it will be worth it and more than pay for itself – and I think I will.

This is a well made clippers set! I would give the clip-on comb attachments a 3 or 4 stars out of 5, because some of them were loose and didn't stay on well. We bought a Wahl brand metal replacement for the length we used the most (a #4), and with the metal ones we were in very good shape. These are heavy, solid clippers, work very smoothly and seem built to last. We've saved a ton of money doing haircuts at home!

I have used Wahl clippers for many years and never used the cordless ones. Cut is just as good and convenience of using them cordless is even better. Great quality, although the plastic doesn't feel as robust as the corded professional ones I have. They cut great though.

Got it on sale. Works as described and is high quality. It came with a few clipper guards, clipper oil, a comb, and a charging cable. Noise level isn’t an issue. Overall, it’s great!
