A few practical points I appreciated: • You don’t need a key to lock it. Just push it into place. • It takes 3 AAA batteries, which power the alarm and warning light (not included). • Its edge can break a window in an emergency, which is a well-thought-out bonus. • It’s heavy, visible, and feels like a strong deterrent. Turn your steering wheel so the spokes are at half past 2. That way, the lock fits on easily and the heavier part rests on the dashboard, where it’s secure and out of the way. It fits neatly under the seat when not in use and takes seconds to install. In a world where car theft is getting smarter, this gives me a sense of control. I love it. Very sturdy steering lock. Definitely will do the job, alarm nice and loud if tampered with. Two slight things, It does not tell you anywhere on or in the box which batteries are needed (3xAAA) had to Google that information. Does not fit a classic car steering wheel as they are alot slimmer than today's vehicles.

The unit is heavy and well constructed, it takes 3 AAA batteries to power the alarm. It’s quite loud and may startle a thief enough for him to stop and flee. When armed there’s a flashing red led and you have 15 seconds to exit the vehicle before it activates. It must be position correctly on the wheel or it can be bypassed by a determined thief. On its own it may deter the opportunistic thief but for best protection I use it with Car Lock. Shortly after buying it, I saw the same device on eBay for less than half the price! Needless to say, I returned it to Amazon for a full refund. The one star rating is due to the over inflated price.

The alarm on this lock is a really good feature. It's loud and clear and would definitely be heard from outside the car. I bought this for my standard suv and it is super easy to fit and comes with more than 1 key which is great for someone who looses keys like myself. The lock sits nicely on top of the dash board and doesn't leave any marks on it. It's got a decent weight to it, but not too heavy to lift and place on the wheel. It is really sturdy and the steel is good quality.

Bought this for my Vauxhall Astra J, and it fits perfectly. It's not too bulky, just the right size, and feels really solid. The weight is just enough to feel strong about 1.6 kg and is easy to handle. The alarm is loud, and the flashing light is a great warning. It's super easy to install and remove. I bought this one (November 2024) as a Low-profile VISUAL Theft-Deterrent, as my vehicle has an Immobilizer and Alarm built in. So far I am 100% pleased with its overall performance: It's smaller & NICER LOOKING than the "Club" and takes only seconds to install. Yet, it's still visible enough to DETER Car thefts. It's easy to store; the lock seems solid and smooth. I especially like that you don't have to use the key to lock it, after installing it onto the Steering wheel - it locks automatically! Based on other negative reviews about the built-in alarm and "stuck key" issues, I was aware and prepared: I immediately oiled the lock with some Teflon lubricant (see link below) and did NOT bother using the alarm feature -- it simply was not important to me. L'antivol est très costaud. Il est facile à utiliser, facile à poser et à mettre en service. La seule précaution il faut tourner le volant avant d’arrêter la voiture, pour qu'une des barres du volant soit verticale et fixer l'antivol sur cette barre. Dès lors que l'antivol est posé et serré sur la barre du volant, la fonction électronique se met en fonctionnement après une temporisation, il reste à sortir de la voiture. En rentrant dans la voiture une temporisation nous donne le temps de mettre la clef dans la serrure et de desserrer l'antivol, l'alarme électronique se désactive. L'alarme fonctionne avec 3 piles AAA alcalines, non fournies.
