We love this pizza dough! We order it by the dozens. Quick and easy and delicious! I always let it rise at least two hours. Perfect!

Pizza Mix is a Piece of Cake
Can I give it 6 stars? I have been buying "fresh" pizza dough from whole foods for the last few months. I have been making my own "mini pizzas" to go along with my diet plan. Yeah.. I know pizza's & diet don't seem to go together.. but I can make the calories come in under 400 per pie.. So.. I had been having spotty results with the whole foods.. I had to let it "proof" for several hours to bring it up to temp etc.. Sometimes the pizza was perfect, sometimes tough.. and the last time it was tough and flat. So, when I saw this pizza mix.. and saw it only needed like 5 minutes to rise.. I figured.. what the heck. It's not expensive and it seems to be a lot less tricky. So, I got it and tried it out. I let the dough rise longer than 5 minutes.. basically while I was out walking my dogs.. which probably was closer to an hour.. but the dough rose up nicely. I divided it up (decided next time to divide before rising and that worked best) into 4 balls.. formed my pizzas, toped with sauce, veg and cheese and popped in the oven. They turned out fantastic! Crust was tender and crisp.. and it was easy. I have made it now a few times and it works consistently great every time. Since I am using the mix "fresh" I don't have to wait hours for it to come up to room temp to proof.. it is all set to go within 30 minutes.. now THAT is convenient.. and it tastes good too. By dividing it into 4 my pizza crusts clock in around 165 calories.. I add about 100 cal of cheese and the sauce/veg is well under 50 calories.. so I am at like 315 calories for a tasty not diet tasting food.. yay.

Good stuff
I found this dough to make a fine and tasty pizza crust. It was easy to work with and seemed to be of high quality. For those of you that had problems with its "stickiness" try using a few small pinches of flour both on the dough and your fingers when spreading it out to make it easier to work with. All pizza doughs that I have worked with will normally be a little tacky like this. I didn't follow their instructions, instead I used my bread maker on it's "dough" setting (23 minutes) and 1/2 cup water to mix and knead the dough and this worked very well also. I am most pleased with this product, it arrived quickly, it's shipping boxes came in good shape and I will definitely be buying it again. (My four star rating is the highest I give, I don't give fives or ones).

Great mix, great value!
Love this mix! Follow the directions but if you have time let it sit a little longer after the first mix (maybe 20 minutes) then re-ball it and let it sit for another 5-10 minutes. Stretches pretty easy so give the dough a quick shaping with your hands or a roll pin then use tossing or hand stretching techniques. Check YouTube if you need help with that. Thin crust makes about a 14" pizza which is barely enough for 2 people (I can smash a whole one myself pretty easy). Use a pizza stone and get the oven HOT around 500 degrees. In the summer I cook it on the grill with all the burners maxed out, just make sure you keep the lid closed as much as possible to keep the heat in. Gas grill works fine but a charcoal grill, like one of those egg shaped ones, would be amazing. Adds a little char to the crust and some smokey flavor to the cheese like a real wood fired pizza. I figure each pizza cost me about $5 and less than 15 minutes of work to make. Perfect since I don't have any good pizza joints within reasonable driving distance. Highly recommend, just remember though the pizza is only as good as the ingredients you put on the crust!

This is a great product, BUT
It was so hard to give it the 5 stars the product deserves, when I received the packages in the bottom of my subscriber box that had heavy things piled on top of them. Two of the packages were broken open and flour everywhere. If you find this product in the grocery store, buy it. It is the most convenient way and fast way to make pizza dough. You just add warm water, cover for a few hours (or less) and spread the dough on your pizza pan. I really like this product, but I did not like the mishandling of it in the Subscriber box.

Great Taste and Texture/Simple
I purchased this mix with reserved optimism after reading several negative reviews. The dough mix calls for 1/2cup of water per packet. I mixed with 2 packets with 1 cup of hot water and then some to create a proper textured dough. After following package directions (coating dough ball with olive oil) I allowed the dough to sit over 90 minutes. The yeast "is not dead" as reported by another reviewer as the dough raised nicely with actual crust bubbles. I stretched and rolled the dough onto a Lodge Cast Iron Pizza pan 14"available on Amazon) then applied 1/2 cup sauce, 1/8 cup Parmesan cheese, followed by 1 cup of Whole Milk Mozzarella, Non-Cured Pepperoni (Applegate Farms Brand from Whole Foods Market as this is the only supplier in my area 50 miles away), veggies (Bell Peppers/Olives) followed by more cheese 1cup. Finishing touch of Oregano and a splash of Olive Oil. Placed in well pre-heated oven of 500f for 10 or so minutes on very bottom rack. No sticking of product, I lightly greased pan before placing with Olive Oil. Pleased to report... Best Pizza ever! Perhaps the extra water incorporated in the mix and baking on cast iron Lodge Pizza pan. Will attach pics. document the prep process. Don't be shy about purchasing this dough mix.
