Works Great But make sure to tighten cap
I have purchased a bunch of these over the years and they consistent bring my TDS down to 0 for my RODI water supply. Make sure to double check the caps as they sometimes come delivered untightened and can leak after installation

Glad it's refillable
Ok so as everyone else says the one you get does exhaust very quickly, but looking at it this is because for some reason its not filled as completely as it should be with resin. When I hooked it up and started it the water pressure made a noticeable compression on what's inside, I mean, I literally watched it compress like another half inch. That's why the resin exhausts so fast, and I didn't even get 2 gallons before it all turned brown. That being said, I'm still pleased with it. The water it was producing even with the exhaustion was 003 TDS compared to the RO I was purchasing from my LFS that read at 013 (so glad I ordered a TDS meter as well). I purchased some resin to refill it for 15 bucks at another LFS which was the exact same color changing resin it was shipped with. There was enough to refill it two times for sure, maybe three. Refilling it was easy, all you do is unscrew the cap and use your thumb to push the plug. You do it to one side and it will pop the other up, then you just dump it out and refill it. Make sure you tap it down as you go to get it as full as possible before adding the end foam and rubber plug. this time around I've filled 5 five gallon jugs and its not even half way exhausted yet. It will still exhaust faster than a regular sized DI filter, but it is small. I like the compact design and it fits right on the door under my kitchen sink. Happy with this purchase

Good filter
If you follow the instructions properly there are zero issues with it. I have been using it every few days for weeks and it’s just now starting to turn color. It does say in the instruction booklet that if your water is particularly poor the filter will not last nearly as long. It also specifies deductions based on certain chemicals and production based on water temperature. I do wish the kit didn’t have such a high volume of waste water though.

Works well, though needs instructions and a better description; this review includes a few installation tips for others
Overall, this is a good product. It lost half a star for having no instructions, half a star for the first unit dying unusually quickly, and a full star for being incorrectly described in the listing. Beyond these issues, though, it works well. First, the units I received were not green, which is important because the unit's coloration is how you know if it is still good or needs replaced. The units I received were both blue/black, as you can see in the photos I uploaded to Amazon. The listing, when I bought the items, did not say anything about there being different color models; it only discussed a green model, and I wanted green anyway for aesthetic reasons. The only reason I discovered blue/black was a second model was by going to the company's site and looking through several documents there. The listing should accurately describe what you'll receive. Hopefully, by the time you read this, it will be updated. Second, the unit came with no instructions. It didn't say which end the water should enter and which end the purified water exits. The answer, by the way, is water enters the bottom and exits the top, which you can see from the documents on the company's website. The unit also has a particular kind of tube seal that is not obvious: there are white baskets sitting in a hole, you push the basket down and shove the tubing into the hole, and then you pull the basket part up and clip a blue U-shaped clip on. That part was easy to figure out. How to remove the stoppers that are in the basket when the unit arrives (and how to get the tubing back out of the basket) was not obvious. If you just pull and pull and pull on the stoppers, nothing will happen. If, however, you simply push the basket down and then, while holding it down, pull the stopper out, it's really easy to remove them. Same with tubing: push the basket down, pull up on the tubing, and voila, done. Finally, my unit turned brown (the color that the black/blue ones turn when dead) exceptionally fast. Within a few hours of use, I had a mostly brown unit. You can see that from the other image I uploaded. Amazon sent me a new unit, though, which was amazing (as Amazon customer service always is). Beyond that, I love this unit. It's a great price and makes the amount of water I expected. My water hardness is way down from using this unit, and my fish tank is very happy. It was easy to install and put together with the main Aquatic Life unit. The few questions I had were easy to answer by going to the company's website and finding a manual (which should be included with every order, but wasn't for either of mine). One last word of warning: be sure that you don't put this somewhere that has high pressure. Or, if you do, make sure you buy tubing that can handle it. I put mine in the wrong place on a solar water heater and the pressure was too high: it blew a hole in the tubing I bought and leaked quite a bit. However, I just changed the tubing, reduced the pressure, and it has worked fine since. Overall, I recommend this unit to others. Just be advised that you might not get a green unit, and go straight to the company's website for instructions if you need them. Otherwise, this unit works well for me.

So easy!
I got the compact designed RO unit, and this to go with it. Between the two, it drops my well water tds to 0 to 1. Great for my saltwater aquarium tank. I love how simple this rodi system is and that you can replace one part so easily instead of needing to replace everything if one housing breaks like older rodi. Nothing has leaked. Easy to install. Very happy.
