Actually didn't expect all of these whistles to work 'properly', but each works as it should, producing similar sound output. This style whistle may not be the loudest, but do produce a piercing sound when blown 'firmly' (a whistle of this design produces only a 'breathy' sound if blown gently). Colors are vibrant and uniform, and attached split rings, while light duty, are adequate to allow use. Very acceptable.

I bought these for gifts for my friends whom attend my birthday party. The performance of these is great! It is a loud whistle and perfect to use in a scary situation if needed. The keyring makes it even more versatile as you can hook it on your keys or on a bag,purse, etc. The size is a little small but perfect to conceal if u don't want it shown to everyone. The ease of use it very easy. Just put your lips on and blow. Even a child could use it. The appearance of these is nice. I love how they come in different colors.

I appreciate how lightweight these are and they're VERY loud when you need them to be. Bright colors make it easy to find quality is great especially for the price. We bought these for safety when hiking, fishing, camping, hunting, etc. and want to have lots of extras for kiddos in case things are lost or dropped.

I bought these for distribution to residents in an "Adult Living" facility. You can blow a whistle a lot longer and louder than a weak hoarse "Help Me!" late at night or in a parking lot.

The bearly make a sound. I bought these for my kids for hiking as it is part of their scout requirements for safety. No-one can hear it from the next room let alone to save you in the wilderness. I'm a teacher and was going to use on the playground...there is almost no noise!!!! Useless waist of the planets resources making these.

As a dog trainer, one of the most important behaviors I believe you can teach your dog is a recall. And as an extra I make sure to teach my dogs to return to me to a whistle. Since I lost my last one, I hopped onto Amazon, and settled on ordering these. Pro: Bright colors, whistle is clear, it’s not too big, and easy to use. Con: Absolutely filthy. I’ve bought a lot of whistles in the past for my classes, and although I always disinfect them, I’ve never recieved one that had crap coated on it that required scrubbing.

All our employees get an emergency packet in the office. It contains a whistle, a flashlight, a mask and other items specific to our office. These whistles are loud as well as small so they were perfect for our kits. I recommend them if you need a whistle for some reason.

The package of 12 whistles did not arrive by expected delivery date (nor two weeks later). I contacted the company, who immediately responded by email, offering me a choice of a refund or a second attempt at sending the product. I chose to have it resent. This time it arrived as expected (through Canada Post). I let the company know that I had received the second shipment. They again got right back to me, thanking me for letting them know this. The whistles are exactly as described and desired. Excellent price for a dozen, small, light-weight, solid, loud whistles. For your information, I am using some to attach to our 'grab and go' earthquake backpacks and giving the rest to neighborhood kids to attach to their school bags as an emergency whistle.

Aluminum, Small and Light. Easy to put in a pocket or a keychain.

It can’t make good sound. I had already returned.

Bought them a year ago, still waiting to receive them. Don’t buy these.
