An affordable and versatile kitchen tool I use daily for quick and easy meal prep!
I finally capitulated and replaced my little, ancient, stained and dulled, plastic mandoline slicer with this nice, stainless steel one, and it didn't even break the bank as I had long anticipated! I love it and use it pretty much daily for all kinds of jobs. So much so that with no kids around, I never put it away, it's shiny self just sits proudly next to the cutting board prep station, always ready to help. (I just hope it lasts longer than all the other shoddy products and appliances that seem to be ubiquitous these days!) The blade is sharp and it has a nice long, unobstructed "runway" to make slicing quick, easy, and more efficient. I love all the variable slicing widths and options, quickly adjustable with a simple twist of the dial, from paper thin to thick. Plus the options of the built-in julienne and waffle cuts that don't require handling sharp replaceable blades. (BTW, for anyone complaining about the waffle cutter only making wavy cuts... just read the enclosed directions, you have to make a half turn after each pass!) The julienne and waffle blades are best for less dense items, firmer ones tend to bind and resist being passed through the vertical blades without a lot of strength, which I lack. I find it really easy to clean, I mostly just rinse it off well under a hot water spray after cutting most veggies, but it also disassembles easily if more thorough cleaning is needed. It comes out of the box with a blade guard in place, but I also appreciate that after removing it, the sharp blade can be placed in a neutral position - flush with the opposite side - to make handling and cleaning safer. My only issue is sometimes I find the adjustment knob difficult to turn, but I think that is mostly because a botched wrist surgery left me with diminished hand function and poor grip strength. I also love that it comes with cut-proof gloves! I like using them soooooo much better than trying to use the also included slicing guard, which can often be awkward and frustrating. The guard does works great for things like potatoes, onions, tomatoes, beets, apples, or other spherical produce with a smaller diameter that will fit inside the cup, but is virtually useless for bigger, smaller, long, or irregular shapes like carrots, cabbage, lettuce, celery, radishes, peppers, squash, etc.. Overall a very useful addition to any kitchen, but please, just ALWAYS use the guard, glove, or both, at all times if you value your fingers, or hate the sight of blood! I speak from past experience when I say there is no job too small or too quick to forgo using them!

Works great and easy to clean!
Great machine. I am a senior and decided to try to cook scalloped potatoes for the first time. Needed something to cut thin/even slices. This slicer did the job quickly. The blades are very sharp and the Bing Bing mandolin slicer was great in all areas. For $20 it is a steal! It also slices onions exceptionally well.

High quality. Limited functionality.
Its a high quality slicer. I wish it could cut waffle fires but other than that it works great!

Sharp, versatile, and easy to use.
Pretty impressed with this product so far. The blade is super sharp and the hand guard feels sturdy and slides easily. I like that I don't need multiple blades or attachments, everything is built in with a sturdy rotator. There is a massive range in size of slices I can make, even "in-between" sizes and not simply pre-set 1mm, 2mm, etc. Cleanup is simple with a hot water rinse and the included brush to get any stuck bits off the blade.

very sharp
This item is very sharp, be careful and use the glove and the thing that grips the vegetables, if you want to stay out of the emergency room. it is a great tool with many blade depths. have fun

Good, not great
It's great for firmer foods. Cuts cucumbers, carrots, zucchini, and such very well. Tomatoes...you have to saw it through the blade, and it tears the back side out as it comes through. It is rather awkward trying to find a container to catch the cuttings from underneath.

Not Safe
I had high hopes for this mandoline slicer after reading some of the positive reviews, but unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. While some customers mentioned it works great—especially on potatoes and onions—that definitely wasn’t the case for me. I tried slicing a variety of vegetables, including potatoes, zucchini, and carrots, and the results were frustrating across the board. The blade didn’t seem sharp enough and often failed to cut cleanly, leaving me with ragged or uneven slices no matter how careful I was. The operation itself is overly complicated. The instructions were vague and not very helpful, and figuring out how to adjust the thickness settings took longer than it should have. Even once I managed to set it up, the slicer didn’t feel stable or intuitive to use. The hand guard, which is supposed to keep your fingers safe, barely holds the vegetables in place and kept slipping, which made the process feel unsafe and stressful. I found myself constantly stopping to reposition everything, and I honestly felt like I was one wrong move away from cutting myself. The build quality just isn’t there—it feels flimsy and cheaply made, with plastic components that don’t inspire confidence. I expected something a bit sturdier, especially for a kitchen tool that involves sharp blades. The only real upside is that it’s easy to clean, but when the actual slicing function doesn’t work properly, that’s not much of a selling point. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this slicer to anyone. Between the dull blade, poor design, and frustrating setup, it turned a simple task into a time-consuming hassle. Definitely not worth the money, and I’ll be replacing it with something more reliable.

We have been using this slicer for over six months. The quality is great. It cuts apples, pears, tomatoes, persimmons perfectly. It cuts carrots into strips perfectly. ...easy to use and easy to clean.

I'm very happy with this mandolin slicer. The straight blade is sturdy and sharp - watch your fingers. Its easy to adjust for depth of cut with the dial (as opposed to pre-sets) so you can get a very thin slice. The Juliane cutters work well for crisp vegetables (not so great on softer vegetables). I've used it for cabbage, zucchini, onions, potatoes - it did well. Easy enough to clean - again watch your fingers.
