My husband does the extras in the yard work. This product is what he needs for the weed wacker. Works great!

This really is worth the price difference - it feeds reliably into current and older generation Ego trimmers, it's very strong, and lasts up to 4x as long as some of the cheap 0.095" line I've tried, the cutter is at least usable, and it's generally easy to work with. It does sometimes get tangled, but much less than others.

This is the ONLY string that I've found for my Ego Power-wind trimmer that actually holds up well. This is the same stuff that comes packed with the unit when new, but less costly than the pre-cut version. We have lots of fences & beds that require trimming, at least half a day of work & battery swapping. I have tried the Ego black & green, and it shattered pretty quickly when contacting wire fence. I also tried three different "best rated" products profered by YouTube testers and recommended by Lowes reviews, and they were all worse. If they didn't break even faster than the green & black, they'd wrld themselves together inside the head, or frequently both. At least the Ego black & green didn't melt, vut again, none held up as well as this. When run on low speed I was able to get a 14' load to.last until I had run the battery out, which is a lot more convenient in terms of interruptions in the work flow. If you're new to Power-wind Ego teimmers; if your unit stops winding, but you can still hear it running & trying to wind in new line, remove the snap off cover. Then, using an impact driver (a cheap cordless is fine) remove the retaining nut to access behind the backing plate (it's reverse threaded, so set your impact to counter-clockwise). Long grasses can accumulate and wind up back there to a point where it prevents the winding mechanism to properly engage.

This is the best string that I have found for my Ego string trimmer. I have tried a couple other brands in the past but they did not last as long as the Ego Brand. The string is easy to install and use.

Tough string. I wouldn't buy a knock off. A good value vs. the pre-cut sections, which I almost bought. Glad I bought the roll. Easy to measure 13' and cut.

So easy to install. Work very well in cutting grass to quite heavy weeds to small seedlings.

Please do not buy the version that comes pre-spooled onto an EGO spool as it is much more expensive and you get a fraction of the amount as string. It is extremely easy to learn to load your own string onto your existing spool. The gauge is 2.4 mm so it is pretty durable for typical usage in the back yard. 50 meters will last years.

L'unico filo che funziona bene col sistema Powerload di EGO, cioè il sistema carica automaticamente il filo nella testina del trimmer con la pressione di un semplice tasto. Lo faccio vedere anche nel breve video caricato. In ogni caso il filo svolge egregiamente la sua funzione tagliando tutto quello che può tagliare un filo di questa misura. Ho provato altri fili anche della stessa misura e qualche volta si inceppano sempre, questo non si inceppa mai ed il sistema lo rilascia in automatico quando si consuma. E' una funzione spettacolare che fa risparmiare tantissimo tempo. Nel kit c'è anche un piccolo cutter da tenere in tasca per tagliare il filo quando si deve caricare, questo cutter ha un occhiello per poterlo legare con un filo, fascetta o qualsiasi cosa. Io l'ho legato con un moschettone al decespugliatore per non perderlo. La confezione è anche pensata per prelevare in modo facile il filo necessario grazie ad un foro centrale. Arrivato nei tempi previsti dentro un pacco Amazon ben protetto. Consigliato soprattutto per i sistemi Powerload di EGO ma va bene per qualsiasi decespugliatore.
