Something not included in the description
It is a plastic mitre box that can be used as expected, however, the bottom is uneven and will not sit flat atop a flat surface. One side on the bottom has a 1\2" lip which I assume you are supposed to place against the front of your workbench for support. With this lip hanging over the front of the bench the mitre box sits flat.

this is great for a very budget priced miter box ,worked for light duty, and priced very well

Useful with miter saw for cutting.
Works well with miter saw, previously reviewed, to cut angels and miters, will be useful in many projects.

I do not recommend this.
Terrible, I would not recommend this, even for an amateur. Flimsy to say the least. Slots are to wide so it doesn't cut straight. I actually can cut a straighter line by eye, no kidding. After being frustrated with this I moved to the side and cut a piece of wood and compared it and I did cut a straighter line. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS.I research must of the stuff I buy therefore I don't usually write bad reviews but this one...
