Finally...an Eco friendly sponge that works well! I am still on the first sponge of the pack but it seems to be lasting really well and does a fantastic job at removing the hard to scrub areas of my dishes. I will definitely be purchasing again.

Good absorbent sponges, stay clean and last a long time. The ‘scratchy’ back thought wears away quite quickly. Good value though.

I bought these for our new bathroom feeling good to be buying something sustainable. Unfortunately the sisal scrubber doesn't work well - it breaks up quite quickly leaving bits on the basin surface and it comes unstuck from the sponge very willingly. The sponge is quite good but I shan't buy them again.

EDIT - Bought product a couple of times = 12 sponges. For each one, the 2 halves would come apart after about 4 weeks of non-intensive use - maybe using hot water disolved whatever glue holds them together? Have bought another brand which feels better to the grip, they do not come apart and are cheaper. So although I do like the product, there are better options.-- Have been using the same sponge for about 3 weeks now and it's holding up pretty well. It hasn't become stained and remains odorless, fantastic :) The only criticism so far is that although the product is flexible, it's not always comfortable to handle/could be more ergonomic.

I highly recommend these sponges. They do a brilliant job at cleaning and I'm pleased to have found another regular household item to replace the plastic version. These sponges aren't as thick as the ones you get in the supermarket but soon expand once soaked in water and work really well. It's also great to see Better Eco expanding their plastic free product range. I've been using their biodegradable, silk dental floss for a couple of years now.

I am very impressed with these sponges. Not only are they plastic free but they actually work really well! I can safely say I will never return to traditional Supermarket sponges again. I am also impressed that's there's no plastic in the packaging and it's fully recyclable.Lovely to see a little company trying to reduce the amount of plastic in the world, keep it up!

I am really pleased with these sponges…never thought I would be so excited about sponges 😂I love that there is zero plastic in sight (even the packaging is plastic-free). They are slightly thinner than the standard green and yellow plastic-based sponges, which I imagine is something to do with the fact that they are plant-based and therefore compostable. They expand and absorb the soapy water very well which makes for a fantastic cleaning experience. I have been using these to clean my dishes as well as the hob.Overall I am very happy and will definitely be repurchasing this product when the current ones have worn out and are ready to be composted.

They work as expected and they’re great for the planet too!Only downside is the scrubbing side doesn’t last as long as ordinary one but I guess that’s a small price to pay!
