I have alopecia areata, which is an auto-immune disorder which causes my immune system to attack healthy cells (psoriasis, ibs, and arthritis are some examples of other types of auto-immune disorders). I bought these vitamins to speed up the growing process and help thicken my locks, and also to aid in preventing shedding or future hairloss. I have studied vitamins and herbs and their effects for years now, and searched through tens of vitamins (including many of the most popular and promoted), scanning their labels, and singled my picks down to this one and one other. Good Hair has the most of everything I wanted, but I'll be purchasing another option as well to add in a few other herbs and minerals that are missing. Overall though, their ingredients list shines the brightest. The science of what they're botteling is all tried and true to support hair growth and prevent hair loss. They even include natural DHT blockers in their formula which has been shown to help people with autoimmune disorders. I recieved my package a few days ago, it arrived super quick which I'm very pleased about (took 1 day, I think), and I opened it to find that the pills smell really strong, which is good because that means they're potent. So far I have noticed an increase in energy and mood, which is good bc being happy and positive gives me hair confidence ;) and makes me more motivated to live a healthy lifestyle, all of which = better hair in the long run. It seems I have also noticed less shedding in the shower and in my brush, but it's still super early in my trial. I will give an update after I have finished the bottle and let y'all know if I plan to purchase again!

I never write reviews and I'm the biggest critic in the world so this is huge for me. I started loosing my hair very noticeably about 2 yrs ago. Panic stricken, I went to the dr. My diagnosis..Stress. She sd, if it doesn't start growing back in 3 months, she would refer me to a dermatologist. Well, I knew what the dermatologist would prescribe, that nasty minoxidil stuff and I'm not doing that. So I did A lot of research and tried everything under the sun it seemed and nothing was working and my depression from loosing hair was getting deeper and deeper. I didn't know what I was going to do and this was stressing me out even more for someone who was trying to avoid stress! I came across "another" hair vitamin that claimed to grow hair and stimulate regrowth..I was at the end of my rope and said "what the hell, I'll try it". After one month, I saw a huge difference in the texture of my hair and it did seem to be growing but naturally no regrowth yet because that as you know takes awhile (months). I was happy with this product but not the price! I researched more and found Good Hair and it has the exact same ingredients and amounts as the more expensive one. So excited, I ordered it and have been taking it for about 5 months now. Guess what? Not only is my hair the longest it's been in decades and Healthy, I'm seeing REGROWTH all over my head!! I am so thrilled! I was at the point of Doom, I had almost given up and was so disgusted with all this crap that claims to regrow hair. If you're in that situation..give this a try and be patient, it really does work! So thankful I found it!! Thank you Good Hair!!!

The first time this happened I purchased a 2 pack of these pills. They smelled bad and they looked bad. they are supposed to be yellow but they have brown dots all over them. I prefer to trash them and buy another bottle. Ive been using these for years and love them but these last 2 orders were bad and only good for the trash. And both orders were vacuum sealed. Now I looked and I see there is no return policy for these. What else can I do to get their attention besides posting this review? hopefully, they will fix this problem. In the mean time I need to find another vitamin. BTW, they never helped my hair to grow but they made my skin smooth, and clear and gaveme a boost of energy.

These vitamins definitely cause hair and nails to grow quicker. I suffer from male pattern baldness, and the DHT blockers seem to be generating new growth. It has not filled it in, but I'm not as bald anymore. This product has more Biotin than another I have tried, and I can definitely tell after a few weeks of using this one that my hair shafts are thicker and affected by the additional amount. Your existing body hair will grow much faster, but you will not grow body hair in places where it was not already growing. But do keep the clippers/razor handy. I've also noticed that my facial hair grows MUCH faster now. Your skin will also feel more moist and elastic because of the biotin and other minerals. One thing you'll want to also know is that there is quite an odor to these vitamins. I typically have to eat something or chew some gum right after taking them, just to get rid of the odor and taste after swallowing. But hey...healthy hair is worth it.

After shy of 4 months, the suggested amount needed to see real results bloom, I can't say I see any real results. Maybe I need more work or it's just not for me, but regardless it didn't work out for me. My lower rating is more aimed at the pills themselves. These were the biggest I had ever seen in my life and swallowing them was something I came to be hate. As someone who grew up fearing swallowing pills and choking, these brought back bad memories. They are simply too huge and have edges that can scratch on the way down. Their weight and the fact they start dissolving quick made them sticky and heavy too. I lost count how many times they hung up in my throat or I slightly choked on these pills. If they were easier to swallow I may have given them another month, but the fact is I feel like I'm spending too much money on pills I feel are more choking hazards.
