Rust-Oleum Odor Killing Primer

We purchased a rental home and we’re having a terrible time getting rid of the cat smells. We ran an ozone machine several times but couldn’t quite get rid of the lingering odor. This product took care of it!

Had an old dresser that had a strong musty/old smell in the drawers. I tried many things before and could not get rid of the smell. Zinsser's Odor Killing Primer worked great. It goes on white and dries clear so you cannot tell the inside drawers and chest were painted. It completely got rid of the smell. I recommend letting drawers sit for a couple of days to "cure" before putting them back in the dresser.

Product very easy to use, dries quickly and sealed in all (pet) odors on a wooden subfloor being prepared for new carpet. Was used in and are with pet stains and worked well, there was no smoke or tobacco but I feel it would work there as well.

This product is very thin, possibly to allow it to soak into the medium that it is applied to. It will not cover anything and I had to prime over it with another product. I wish I knew if it actually helped with the smell, but not very good as a primer.

I looked for this product in several home improvement stores who said they could special order it for me at twice the price as Amazon. Works great, dried quickly and clear.

Used on a bathroom floor that had an odor. This stuff worked great! Odor was gone next day!

We rolled this on a wood subfloor that had been soiled with human, dog, and cat urine from about a year prior. It took a minimum of 72 hours to dry and was still tacky. Do not roll more than one layer because it won't dry. The carpet guys would not install carpet over this due to the possibility that it would seep through it and ruin the pad/carpet they installed, voiding the warranty.

This stuff is awesome. Works just like it says it will. High humidity will make it dry slower. Very satisfied with this purchase. Would definitely buy again and recommend to anyone.
