I like fact that this bottle is Made in the USA!!! Much better quality than anything made in China. It is leak proof and easy to clean. You can handwash or it is dishwasher safe. The web page shows many colors, however there is only a lime green color available right now. I wanted to buy more for other family members with other colors to differentiate but no other options are available right now.

This thing is built like a tank and it shows. I was looking for a thick glass bottle with thick sleeve, wide mouth, and made in usa. I bought a bottle on amazon a few weeks ago and it already broke from a short fall. This bottle is heavy (if you are buying a glass bottle and its light, it just means it's more breakable. Thicker glass is more weight. If you want something light, buy metal). Mouth piece is nice and seals great and i like the small mouth sip but removable stainless collar if you want to put ice in. After I got it in the mail I was actually pretty shocked at the quality for 12 bucks. I'll be buying another for sure.Lastly, BUY AMERICAN. Made in china almost always means cheap plastic and very breakable parts, high VOC plastics, bad for environment and of course overseas sweat shop workers. When you buy china you are supporting slave labor and an over consumption 'throw away' mentality. If its cheap but needs quick replacement, is it really cheap? Just my 2 cents

I love this bottle and have purchased two additional ones. I prefer the taste of glass bottles, but others I have purchased either broke easily or the lids leaked. This one is substantial and does not seem fragile at all. I like that the lid is stainless and screws on tightly. The stopper is secure, but opens easily with one hand. The mouth of the bottle is large enough to easily add ice and to clean. The only downside is that this bottle is heavier than most, but that would only be an issue if you were hiking.

I wouldn't take this with me to go on a hike...I mean this thing is hefty! But it's perfect for my daily use to bring a beverage to work--hot or cold. I love that the silicone sheith is complete, not perforated with priddy designs that make it easier to break. The pop-top is easy to clean. The wide open mouth makes it easy to clean. The metal part is high grade stainless steel with a silicone ring inside. This is the best water bottle I've bought so far. I got this for only about 8.00 too!

I read the reviews here and I hoped for a better experience. As with other reviewers; I also don’t like that you have to take off the silicone plug in order to unscrew the cap. It’s annoying because it should be long enough or just placed differently. It’s an ease of use issue. I agree that I also don’t like that the silicone sleeve is impossible to work off the glass. Water and soap gets under the sleeve, but you really can’t pull the sleeve off to clean and dry under there. Some other reviewers found mold under the sleeve. I can totally see now that it is def possible to create a moldy environment. I’m disappointed by that. Finally, I wanted to use a blender ball in there for protein drinks. The mouth is justtt narrow enough to not allow a 2 inch blender ball whisk to fit through. So I just put the powder and water in there and shook it. I made sure to tighten the lid *twice* and liquid still came sloshing out with each shake. It could be that maybe powder got in the screw threads and prevented a seal, but I didn’t detect it. What a bummer. It feels sturdy, but there’s design flaws with the silicone that I just do not enjoy.Update:It still leaks a little bit so I have to make sure it’s screwed on very tightly which is annoying. I don’t think you can remove the sleeve, BUT I’ve never gotten anything foul under it that I cannot rinse away. I see that they recommend hand washing. I think this is the best way. I have not gotten any mold from handwashing. Overall I like this glass bottle. It is very durable. I have dropped it on cement SEVERAL TIMES and it refuses to break which brings me joy. I have updated my 3 stars to 4 stars in order to reflect that.

Well, it does make it easier to stay hydrated!If you're looking for safe glass water bottle for your commute, home, or office with hefty protection, no plastic and a great look, then I think this is the water bottle! Will it keep your drink hot or cold? No, thats a much more expensive vacuumed sealed bottle. Can you drop it with it breaking? Probably not. Its glass! Can you hit it with a hammer? No, its glass. But the silicon sleeve does make me confident that any regretful bumps won't break the glass.Have had this bottle for about a month now and I'm glad I bought it. It perfect for work and my commute. Its 100% plastic free and its made in the USA. Really can't beat this bottle for the price.

I bought 3 ,for wife and son ,me ,,,looks like quality, then i see mold on seal washer ,,soak in bleach ,,mold gone ,,but leaves black stains,,So i call anchor hocking,they send me pack of new seals ,,,ok ,then they mold very easily,Now we see mold on plug and inside rubber boot ,,,wife will not use ,,,I call anchor hocking again , they say bleach all ,take boot off as mold is on inside of boot ,So i tried to take boot off ,,haha ,,try breaking your fingers to get down 1/2 inch ,,I never see my other water bottles,,mold this easily,Anchor hocking,,walks away from this problem,,they tell me soak in bleach all time ,Bleach still wont remove black stains ,,my wife freaks out ,will never trust ,Soo ,,Americans ,,...looks good ,,but dont ever buy ,,
