Monster Trucks Playset with Monster Trucks Bigfoot & Gunkster, Convenient Storage, Wreckin’ Raceway

My boys love Hot Wheels monster trucks. We have quite a few tracks. Most were fun for a few weeks and get put aside. This is the ONLY track that never stops getting used. It is also super durable and I’m surprised how well it holds up. I don’t write a lot of reviews, but I know parents are thinking of gifts for the holidays and this is worth the purchase. The price is right. Build quality is great and continued use is high. Get this track!!!

Do you have toddlers that won't let you go to the bathroom in peace? Do you have toddlers that have separation anxiety? Get this toy and it can practically babysit the kids! After I opened this playset up, I was able to go to the bathroom by myself, read a few chapters in a book I wasn't able to read since pretoddlers. Now who can I thank for this crazy design at Mattel? Racetrack with crazy gator /crocodiile obstacles that pop out to try to chomp on the monster trucks after breaking through a fence . But if your truck is lucky enough to escape the gators /crocodiles there is one more obstacle that might flip your truck before they reach the championship cup. Easy to put together out of the box for a perimenopausal mom in brain fog ( I didn't even use the directions, it is that easy to put together). Comes with two trucks, my toddlers told me they were Gunkster and Bigfoot. We also have monster jam trucks and able to use them on this track as well. Although my kids at first fought over Gunkster ( did not know he was such a popular truck!) they have so many monster trucks that they soon settled down and cheered each other on. They even learned to cooperate with this toy. One would race a pair of trucks and the other twin would reset for the next race. Thanks Hot wheels for helping teach this lesson. Hours later my kids are still playing with this.... I get to read another book!

Sturdy and so far, unbreakable after a year of ownership. The grandkids love this toy, and we have gotten good use out of it. You can't fit all Monster trucks in this toy because of the tires being larger on some of the trucks but we have plenty at home to choose from so it's not a problem. It's a challenge to store since we don't have a basement or a dedicated play space for the grands, so it usually gets hidden behind the couch or stuck in a corner.

The idea of this is perfect. It’s not a ton of moving parts. It’s a good solid idea. However, the plastic itself is thin and cheap and to be fair that’s just how things are now adays. Sold plastic is really never used for toys anymore which is good but when it comes to stuff like this I wish it were a bit more old fashioned. Also where you sit the trucks at the top, one side has a little lip so it hold the truck tire from rolling down, the other side has no lip so it just rolls down so you have to make sure to me holding them perfectly so the one side doesn’t go rolling and then the races gives one side a clear advantage. I still think this is the best monster truck track out there though. We used painters tape to make a small lip on the side that was missing one and it works perfectly at evening out the playing field
