We are covid homeschoolers and this book has been the biggest hit for our history/geography studies. Love that there is a wide range of explorers to learn about. Some new ones for me too. I see the top bad review is because of the diverse (therefore liberal?) slant. I think that is one of the top reasons we've loved it. My daughter is more engaged and loves to choose one of the many women explorers to read about. It has brought up a lot of interesting discussions regarding women's and POC role in history. For example, did you know a black man was part of the crew that was the first to reach the North Pole? That isn't obscure history, that's erased history. Why not bring that truth to light? Five stars, excellent book, keep them coming.

Un libro, muy bien escrito con unas ilustraciones excelentes y que puede despertar en jóvenes y niños el deseo de aventura, además de aprender sobre los primeros exploradores de la historia.
