Very Fresh/Aromatic And a Good Option to Recreate Starbucks Matcha Lavender Latte (Recipe Below). A few months ago Starbucks released a oatmilk matcha lavender latte, which I loved. Unfortunately it was a limited release. I bought this product to try to recreate the recipe since Starbucks does not sell their lavender powder separately. I like this product for the lavender foam because it is food grade, fresh & aromatic, and works well to obtain a nice lavender flavor (but not the color of SB which uses carrot and black currant for coloring). It is also nice that they include samples of other flowers in the package. Matcha Lavender Latte Recipe: 1) in a tall glass/cup pour in just over a cup of oatmilk (shake well first); 2) add sweetener (I used a teaspoon of sugar) ; 3) add 3/4 t matcha. Blend together (I used a milk frother) but don't over blend. Cover. In a separate tall glass/cup pour in just over a half a cup of oatmilk ; 2) add sweetener (I used a 1/2 teaspoon of sugar) ; 3) add two nice sized pinches of lavender flowers (about 1/2 t). Blend together with milk frother enough to make sure the flowers are well in the milk. Don't foam yet. Cover. Put both cups in the fridge over night. When ready for your latte: 1) slightly blend the matcha to incorporate any powder that separated; 2) pour lavender milk through a strainer into another large cup; 3) dispose of the flowers; 4) add a splash of half and half (optional) ; 4) at 45 degree angle use frother to foam the milk well. Gently pour lavender into matcha. Use a spoon to get all of the foam. Add a little ice. Enjoy! (Note: Don't leave lavender in milk for more than 24 hours or it can become bitter. Strain then put milk back in fridge).

These edible flowers of lavender were simply superb as an added ingredient to any beverage, specifically tea. I find it's pretty aromatic and strong, so use a lesser amount if you are brewing anything. The flavour does some through though so I find is a worthwhile buy. The rose petal edible flowers are just as delicious, although I find their taste is not as potent. Both flowers do however, add oomph and flair to your recipes, so I recommend them. The package itself lasts a while since you usually don't need huge amounts.
