easy screen to view while driving; not distracting

Links up to your phone via Bluetooth with traffic updates and better routing , I saved an hour by the traffic re route. Almost too big , I’m afraid it’s gonna get stolen but you can pop it off the stand and bring it back to the bunk super easy if you want … I think I should have gotten the one size smaller … but it’s pretty good

This thing is a life saver for anyone lulling a trailer. Gives many options on size and weight of vehicles and loads and gives routes that your vehicle can handle. Glad I bought this. It has made my hotshotting business so much easier to navigate.

Excellent device, tells you about rail road crossing and speed limits. Also very accurate with roads that allow semi. Clear screen, and easy to operate.

like the big size

This is a $900 GPS unit, the Garmin GPS unit arrived in a Garmin box, inside of a Amazon box, there was no plastic bubble wrap or any kind of packing to keep this electronic unit from being bounced around inside of the Amozon box during shipping. The corner of the Amazon box was damaged and ripped in the corner due to some kind of damage. After opening the Amazon box and looking at the Garmin box, I found that there was no clear circular security seal on the Garmin box, that is on all Garmin product boxes. (As per Garmin customer service) Garmin customer service told me that this seal is placed on the boxes to ensure that they have not or ever been opened and that they are as is from factory. Upon further inspection, I find that there's a rip on the corner of the tab that goes inside the box, where you open the box. That shows me that the rip and the lack of a security seal that this alleged brand new box was opened at some point in time. After opening the box and looking at the supposedly brand new GPS unit, I find that it was dirty, I had to wipe it off I looked at the back and as you can see from the photo there is wear and tear on the Finish from mounting it and unmounting it from the power connection. You can also see from the pictures that bronze or copper connections have already turned black from use. They tried to give me a refurbished or as Garmin calls it recertified, unit when they charged me and told me I was buying and receiving a brand new unit. Amazon claims that this is the fault of the third party vendor and not theirs. This may be true. But selling a refurbished item as a brand new item, stinks of a scam, shady, sheisty, criminal offense to me! Amazon is trying to make this right. They asked me to return this unit and they are going to send me a new unit arriving tomorrow. Hopefully it won't be the same thing all over again, and I will get the new unit that I paid for. I contacted Garmin, explained the situation that I had with their product and Amazon. And they explain to me how I can check to see if the unit has ever been refurbished and or even turned on, all with a when and where. This whole process that I described, talking to Amazon, talking to Garmin, reboxing and driving to Kohl's to return the package, all took about 4 and 1/2 hours out of my day. I just wonder how many people don't catch this or how often or how much this sort of thing actually happens to people, or individuals who aren't as eagle-eyed, or anal retentive, as some would say, I am.

This is so much better than the newer model. I would NOT recommend the 1020 to anyone. I used to have the 810 but sold it to a coworker. I definitely recommend the previous models.

Good product, but you need to also keep google open while driving. it has many issues, but cross check with google as you drive on your phone lets say and it becomes very good. Definitely makes mistakes, but also helps very often... so i am glad to have it, but expected more from it for sure.

Well Ill start out with the driver showed up early very polite made sure he checked my one time password to make sure the right person received the product in great condition great job and as for the GPS OTR 1010 Garmin well I cant tell you how impressed I am with it and how easy it is to use and those hard to find address like in Quebec that you would spend a half hour to find when you are in a truck and your trying to find your new pickup or delivery address was a nightmare . Well thats a thing of the past because now with your phone being paired with your Garmin you can search on your phone find the address [immediately] and then send it to the GPS unit with out touching it thats incredible and then there is voice command and ability to answer you phone through you Garmin 1010 fantastic . Great job Garmin and Amazon from reading a road atlas to get to a city and the having to stop in that town and buy a town map to find your delivery address this OTR Garmin 1010 is a Rolls Royce Yours Truely Joe Trifonidis

Works as it should, very large and easy to see, works on either orientation, shows your current mile marker which is handy and not something I’ve seen in previous versions.

It’s not accurate at all in some area. Somewhere which the truck can go through but the GPS will make you take the fairer route. Also in some city it’s not accurate
