I listen to a LOT of podcasts and books while driving or trying to sleep. This remote works perfectly to fully control (pause/resume/skip/rewind/mute/vol+-) the relevant apps (Pocket Casts and Audible) on my Android 15 phone. The battery lasts 2-3 months with regular use as I drive long road trips or drift to sleep (in bed, not behind the wheel) with podcasts/books in my ears. CR2032 replacement is cheap and simple with its quick-release back cover. The buttons respond quickly to a light firm touch, unlike other remotes I've tested which take about twice as much force (with mushy buttons that lag and leave me wondering whether I've pressed them, resulting in unwanted double-presses most of the time). All buttons but one map to their relevant functions as labelled (including the Home and Photo Shutter buttons). The only one which doesn't work is the phone button, but that's a net positive for me -- I don't want to wake anyone up with my snoring when I accidentally press it in the middle of the night. I'd be just as happy if they'd left that one out. Bluetooth connectivity has been flawless for me as well. It has a hardware on/off switch which I turn off sometimes when I'm not using it, but it connects instantly when I switch it back on (whichever one I happen to pick up) and never drops the connection. Even the keyring is surprisingly useful. I usually toss those when they come with things like this, but this one lets me keep the remote dangling from a finger for easy access to the skip button whenever I wake up to a loud podcast commercial in the middle of the night. Skip-skip-skip and I'm back to dreamland in minutes. I've bought three so far and will certainly buy more, to have one nearby in whatever car or room I might occupy while listening. If you've read this far you'll want several too. Keep this in mind when you need to bump your cart up to $25 for overnight delivery.

We downloaded some shows on an old iPhone for my daughter to watch during a road trip and I got this to help me control the phone from the front seat. This was exactly what I needed! It was super easy to pair and stayed paired until the phone was turned off, and it let me adjust the volume, play/pause, and go to the next video all without having to climb in the back seat. Perfect for parents.

I purchased this to use with my android phone for when it is connected to my android auto device in the car. I don't like the idea trying to use the touch screen on the device while driving so I wanted some physical buttons. Functionality: 3/5 - I got an android app to make the home button trigger android assistant (because hello google rarely works for me - especially with the radio blaring). The skip forward/backward, play/pause, and mute buttons all work out of the box. The camera button and phone button aren't working with my phone. Connectivity: 4/5 - It was easy to connect and started working within a few seconds. However, I sometimes have to turn it off and on a couple times before it works. There's a handy power switch on the side for this so it's not a big deal. I suspect this is more to do with Android than the device though. Ease of use: 5/5 - It's very intuitive and I like that I can click through music tracks without having to look away from the road. Value: 5/5 - It may not do all it claims to do but it's still a great value for what it does do. 3rd party apps may give it more functionality. Summary: 4/5 - This device could be better but there are surprisingly few options for those of us who want to use buttons instead of touch screens while driving. You can't go wrong for the price. I liked it enough that I bought one for my son. He says he's using it which gives some peace of mind.

This was great for a month and then it stopped working. I changed the battery and the pairing light comes on for two seconds and then goes off. It is no longer useable. Total waste of money.

This is the most reliable, smartphone, audio controller ever made. I have used the rings and other devices to control my music while out on a walk. This controller is absolutely the best. This controller has functions for volume up, volume down, pause, next track, previous track. The controller is very accurate. When you push a button on this device, it responds perfectly. One of the better parts of this device is the fact that it uses a coin battery. I use this controller with a larger wrist lanyard, and it fits very comfortably in my hand.
