I bought two of these bags for children's twin mattresses, for a long move across country. After being dragged from an upstairs of a house, through the house, out into a garage and shoved into a moving truck- gliding across the floor most of the way due to my very small framed spouse. They were then dragged off of a moving truck and into a new home, across a stone pathway, through the home and to their resting place. Unbelievably- not one rip, tear or hole!! These bags are a super strong thick ply and although I haven't bought another brand to compare- I think they would be hard to beat for their durability. All of our mattresses, which mind you were also only a year old and so in new condition- have remained that way through our transition to a new home. They are also super roomy, so although we our children’s mattresses were 8 inch deep ones that we actually bought here on amazon, a much much thicker one with perhaps even an added top could have fit in. I also think an extra long twin mattress would have fit, as we had so much plastic left at the end of the bag, that we rolled the end and folded it over to tape it. There will be no worries whether your mattress will fit. My wife is very particular and also one of those neat people who can't stand messes, dirt or anything of the like-and she was very pleased with the protection these bags provided. (and as the saying goes, when mama is happy, everyone is happy....) As a side note, my wife is an avid gardener and since we don't plan to move again, and the bags are large enough and thick enough, she plans to cut them open and place them over our garden to extend the growing season. And compared to the price of buying garden covers elsewhere- you absolutely cannot beat the quality and price. The condition of one's belongings is of paramount concern in a move, but with these bags, you *won’t* have to worry about your mattresses.

I bought this to cover/store my somewhat expensive mattress in my travel trailer for the months it spends mothballed in the winter. I've had issues with mice and such, and wanted something to protect it in case there was a small leak or such. The plastic on this is quite thick and very sturdy. That makes it a bit hard to get on in a limited space like a trailer. But it does cover the whole mattress, with room to spare. There are several inches at the end when stored, which is easy to roll up and clip in place. This has been used two years now, and I see no reason it won't last several more. It would be overkill for a move, but if you want to really protect your clean mattress while driving across the continent, this will give you that assurance. Or, if you just want to keep it safe in storage, similarly this is for you.

I use this when I moved from one state to a different state a year ago. My mattress is fairly large and fairly big. It’s a queen size mattress, and it seems like it fits perfectly when I tried to use it when I was moving sturdy and provided protection, but I don’t think there is enough ceiling for it unless You with the rope. It does not seem very thick when I use it for my moving purposes it didn’t break or get scratched and I still have it in storage just in case I need to use it again. Good value the price.

Good quality and durability for the price. The plastic is thicker than the cheap bags you can buy at U-Haul. What enticed me the most was that it came to my door in 2 days and I didn't need to go to the store to find one. Probably the best price you can get for the better quality of plastic. We are storing a Queen Mattress and Box Spring, so we purchased 2 bags. The bag only fit one item in each. The bags (with the mattress and box spring inside) have held up in an open garage for 3 months now. No tears, animal bites, or water damage. One of our bags came damaged, but we had to use it because we were moving that day. We just duct taped the tear and it sealed fine. Customer serviced helped us out by giving us a discount! GREAT customer service with Amazon. Disclaimer: The bags do not come with seals...However you can use your own packaging tape or duct tape and it works out perfectly.

It was definitely a good move to get a mattress bag for my move. Thick material. The movers don't care about your stuff, so you gotta protect your own stuff. Get this to protect your mattress from the dirt that is unavoidable with moving.

CRESNEL Mattress Bag for Moving & Long-term Storage - KING size - Enhanced mattress protection with Super Thick Tear & Puncture Resistance Polyethylene (Value Pack of 2pcs) I purchased this item because I needed to dispose of a queen size mattress that was less than 12 inches tall. I opted to purchase a "king size" bag for the extra room. Pros: -Bag is thick enough to resist most attempts to puncture it. -Seams of bag appear to be well manufactured. -Fits queen size mattress that is less than 12 inches tall. Cons: -Barely fits a queen size mattress that is less than 12 inches tall. I seriously doubt this bag can handle a king size mattress. Wikipedia says a king size mattress is 16 inches wider than a queen. Based on a visual check, at most there was only 5 inches remaining to accommodate a larger mattress. -"Sealing" the open end of the bag is difficult and barely sufficient for keeping out dirt, insects, etc. There is barely enough material in the sealing flap to "fold over' against the rest of the bag. I estimate there was only 4 inches of plastic material available to folder over. Hardly enough to inspire confidence. Given the price of this product, they should made the sealing flap minimum 12 inches long. In summary: A good product if you want to dispose of your mattress and don't care if dust, insects, etc get inside. However if you are disposing your mattress because of bed bugs, there isn't enough material available to fold over and make a solid seal. Disposal companies would probably refuse to collect your mattress because of this issue. The overall size is an issue too. I strongly doubt this product would fit a king mattress. It barely fit my queen size mattress which was less than 12 inches tall. If you planning on using this product to store your mattress, consider buying a 2 pack and then using both on a single mattress to ensure a complete, and durable, overlapping seal.
