Lonely Planet Pocket Dubrovnik & the Dalmatian Coast

This is a pocket book, useful to go around. I am a big fan of lonely planet guides

The street map of Split doesn't even show the bus station. I've been disappointed with the last 3 LPs I've bought tbh. I can't imagine I'll ever buy another. I used LP in India and SE Asia extensively in the 80s and 90s. Their books were good then. They used to say "we write for travellers, not for tourists". Nowadays, I think they write for tourists. And wealthy ones at that. It's not easy to send an email to LP expressing your opinion. Which is not a good think in my view.

Unfortunately, many sub-par restaurants around Lapad and Dubrovnik. We were saved by Peter’s restaurant recommendations in both towns. Thank you. Accurate descriptions of local attractions that helped us decide what to visit during our week-long trip.
