Easily balances my voice from phantom-powered mic, desktop audio from the gaming/streaming PC, and the background music coming from my laptop. I get to hear the whole mix on a loopback in my headphones - and that's what's heading via USB into Streamlabs. The only drawback that might make me eventually upgrade to a GoXLR is that the Yamaha puts the mic on a fader, but the other two sources on rotary knobs. Thst's fine if it's 'set and forget' but if you want to mix on the fly it's not an easy thing to control a fader and a knob with your non-mouse hand alone.

I'm a big Yamaha fan. They don't make bad kit - whether that's instruments, bikes or electronics. It's not always the very best - but it's always - ALWAYS - more than good enough. And that's true of this little mixer. I think it's aimed at podcasters as it has the ability to connect sound to and from your computer. If I'm honest with you, I don't really know how this all connects up but I did watch a useful YouTube video explaining it all. It's really quite versatile. I use it as a computer interface. I have a bigger mixer that I take an output from and route it through this one into my computer. Works great. It's a little bit bigger than my hand - tiny, really, for what it offers. You can connect a mic (it has phantom power so you can add condenser or dynamic mics). This first channel accepts both XLR and 1/4" jacks. It has a second channel that accepts a 1/4" jack and is line switchable. It offers some very basic compression/EQ and reverb. There is an app for this too that you can download from the Yamaha website to give you more control over EQ. If you're looking for something to work with more than one or two people and maybe a guitar/keyboard then this isn't the right bit of kit for you. If you're wanting something to podcast with or record yourself singing with a guitar/keyboard - this is spot on. You can even attach a foot switch (not sure what that will do - but it's not something that you can do on all mixers!). I'm loving it so far. And the fact that it's Yamaha means that I'm expecting it to just keep on going...as all my other Yamaha stuff has. Brilliant.

The unit doesn't get hot, unlike other lower cost brands. It works great, the drivers are fine, and the noise level seems to be very quiet.

Works perfectly. Remember people use the usb lead provided or it will not work..or be detected by pc.

Amazing sound and audio controll

If your already familiar with the ag03 mk then all I can say is this a mk2 product and it mk2 kinda changes to it the only major observable one is the support of type c cable other than that it still an ag03
