- UNIQUE: EcoPeaceful Hemp Nut Milk Bags are the ONLY bags which are sewn with super strong linen (flax) threads (stitches). ALL EUROPEAN MATERIALS: In response to our customer requests for no Chinese hemp (currently there is no USA-grown Hemp fabric in existence), we have sourced all of our fabric, threads, drawstring and loop from European materials, yet still Sewn in USA.
- FABRIC, DRAWSTRING, LOOP: 100% Hemp. Medium weight fabric. SEWING THREADS: 100% Linen (flax). The hemp is grown without any pesticides in organic soil. 100% unbleached & unprocessed. Only water used to processes the hemp fiber/fabric, as evidence the bag has the natural color of hemp & still smells hempy. The hemp smell will disappear after a few washes. Hemp is rougher than cotton, but hemp will soften with uses. If your hemp is soft & almost white, it is because chemicals/softeners were used.
- WARNING! Beware of FALSE CLAIMS from other Nut Milk Bag Sellers - Almost all are Made in China (illegally unlabeled) - claiming "100% organic", "100% Organic cotton stitching", "no glue"... We investigated & tested many bags, and our result shows that most of them are NOT "Organic" & sewn with POLYESTER threads, and the threads are glued! In fact, you can verify it for yourself. In GOTS public database, there is no Organic hemp bags or organic hemp fabric.
- WHY LINEN THREADS/STITCHES ARE VERY IMPORTANT: 1) Linen thread/stitching are several times stronger than cotton & naturally antibacterial. We do not recommend using hemp nut milk bags sewn with A) cotton threads for sprouting or brewing since cotton does not naturally have antibacterial properties and will rot fast. B) polyester thread is not a solid thread, it is made from many very thin fibers that are wrapped into a single thread, that easily frays & gets into your food.
