My hammie loves these flowers but I did not freeze them beforehand and now her entire enclosure has bugs. It took several months for the bugs to appear (the eggs were dormant, I guess), I purchased this bag at the end of April. I don't blame the company, I've also found these same bugs in a bag of Timothy hay from a completely different company at a local pet store, stored in a conpletely different area than these flowers. I was not aware of this issue but I've recently learned that any food, bedding or toys going into an enclosure should be frozen for at least 1 week! I would purchase this item again, but I would freeze it for about 2-4 weeks before adding to the enclosure, just to be safe.

Comes with two bags which is great! Loved that for the price especially. But I left one alone for about a week and noticed there were bugs in it. They looked like little beetles. And there were quite a few. Luckily my hamster is okay, but now I’m hesitant to use the other bag.

These flowers are beautiful and smell wonderful! It came with two bags and I’m so excited to use them! The flowers are nice and big. The smell of them isn’t overpowering either which I like. I definitely recommend this flower mix to all hammy owners ❤️

I used this to decorate part of my hamsters cage. Her first inclination was to try eating it but that was short-lived. It just adds some texture and dimension to the cage. It looks very pretty.

Perfect for enrichment for a dwarf hamster. She loves the flowers!
