I used this and another book and passed. Did not use the SHRM overpriced learning system.

This was such a garbage purchase. It's not a study guide at all. If you're looking for 150 pages of ridiculous content on how to take an exam this book is for you. Huge waste of money.

There is very helpful information in this guide - particularly about the content and length of the updated SHRM-CP and SHRM-SCP exams.

This book is not updated with the SHRM BASK as the description states however all other information is helpful. This is not a book that gives you content. It gives more information about the exam itself and testing/study tips. This book only contains 20 practice questions with answers and explanations so I am not sure why the cover says 40 practice Items. This is a good resource for people wanting to know how types of questions on the exam will be structured and what to expect on exam day.

Only ten pages of info, the rest of the information could be found online.

This book is nothing but a review of course books if you have taken a SHRM class. Only 40 practice questions. Nothing more than a moneymaker for SHRM. Do not recommend as prep for your exam. Very disappointed

Hope the tips and tricks will help me gain a pass

This book is not content about what will be on the exam but is information about what to expect from the exam. Also, pages of my particular copy are falling out and this is my first reading. I've barely opened it - the binding is not secure with the pages.
