Kilts for Men Utility Kilt Cotton Cargo Pockets

Needed a Utility kilt for hubby to wear to the Renaisance Festival in Larkspur this year, as it was Celtic weekend and his Clan/Surname is enlish & irish. It is just what I wanted; durable, heavy duty material, and it fits him perfectly. Size 36 is true to size and fit. And he looks awesome in it.

This utility kilt is great for my spouses needs. The fit is awesome, comfortable and the pocket sizes are convenient!

Okay, there's one bad thing. There's a fake pocket on the right hip, where you would ordinarily keep your wallet or keys. There's a flap with snaps, but it doesn't hold anything. It could really use that pocket, in my opinion. The cargo pockets, left and right, are decent size. The left has a small auxiliary pocket that's not really deep enough to securely hold a cell phone, maybe a note pad or something. But the main left pocket is fine, and has a snapped flap for security. The right pocket is similarly snapped, and has 2 small pockets for pencils or pens, and another Velcro pocket that seems to be sized for a small pocket knife ( like a standard Swiss Army knife). The fabric appears to be a light cotton duck with snaps and buckles for minor size adjustment. Being cotton, I would expect it to shrink after washing, and im sure it will wrinkle. We'll see. This isn't a traditional kilt, but it's a great modern take on that garment. I like it enough to have ordered another one.

It is fine. The fabric is fine. the hardware is cheap and looks fragile. There is no washing/materials tag in it. I only paid $30 on sale. I would be Very Disappointed is I would have spent any more money on it. It came wrinkeled to hell and will have to have it dry cleaned just to get it flat and strait as it is dry clean only. The back pocket flap is stupid as there is not a pocket under it. If you are looking for a kilt because you are not sure you are a kilt person. It would be ok at $30. I own several kilts and have a nice canvas one that is vastly better but it was in the $100 price range. I wanted a grey one and there was nothing local. This will be for camping and any ALL grey costume days for ren fests etc. Please know it is a kilt but if you want a good kilt find a kilt place and get one in the $100+ price range, not this.

This is a wonderful design with great details and a great look on.

Fabric was pretty much rotten. The stitching have way/ came undone within a day.
