One of the best endoscopes I’ve ever used.
The media could not be loaded. In its price range, I was dubious that this would meet the standard I expect from an endoscope, I need not have worried. The Kit comes nicely packaged, with its own case, 32mb Micro SD card and expected attachments, like a hook and magnets. The device came with very little charge and requires 3 hours to get a full 4 hours recording out of it, which is impressive. The instructions are Ok and straightforward and the charging port and SD card slot are located on the bottom of the handle with a protective rubber cover.I’s waterproof IP68 rated, although it’s not clear if this is for the camera and its cable or the whole handset, I am not brave enough to submerge the handset so I will continue to be careful with this end of the device.None of it matters if the imagery is poor, and at 1080p I thought that it would be useless, but thankfully, I was wrong, it is sharp and smooth and the definition remained solid at 2CM from the camera lens, I could see detail pin sharp and almost macro at that distance. This is what you want from an endoscope, the lights and different angles that you can use whilst piloting the cable around all the nooks and bends was amazing and a pleasurable experience.Over all I absolutely recommend this endoscope.

Easy to use and navigate
The camera comes in its own hard plastic protective storage case. Unlock the clips and everything is sat in a foam inlay inside. You get the screen with the camera attached, protective end cap, hook, magnet, memory card USB type c charging cable and a basic instruction manual. It looks and feels of good quality, with its large 5 inch colour display screen. It's actually really quite easy and simple to work and use. You're able to navigate through the settings, zoom in, turn the light on and even, pause, record and playback using the buttons on the panel. You're able to use it wirelessly, so not plugged in at a power socket, meaning you're not limited in any way at all. With a 3 hour charge time, you can get 4 hours usage out of it. It has a fairly lengthy 16.5ft cable with the camera lens at the end. The cable is semi rigid, so you can position and feed it through where you need easily without completing bending back up on itself. The camera is actually fairly decent giving you a clear picture on the viewing monitor, being able to zoom in and have the light on without instantly distorting your image. Like that you can pause at a button and then examine the screen without having to attempt to keep still and steady. Theres a hook and magnet attachment you can add to the end of the wire, perfect for when you've dropped something and it's out of reach in a confined out of reach space. Versatile, it's usage and possibilities are endless; from checking a cavity to finding cables behind plasterboard or even finding missing sockets in engine bays. A useful robust piece of kit which feels built to last.

The cheap plastic build and lack of ability to focus in on details lets this camera down
This triple lens endoscope camera produces a clear image that is wider than other types my husband has used. This model has an improved screen which has been updated from previous models – the 5-inch IPS screen makes a marked difference from the previous 4.3 LED screen. The image is far sharper and clearer – although not perfect, a definite improvement. The snake camera is waterproof to IP68 standards – obviously, this makes it suitable for a wide range of applications, but also means it can be washed off in between uses with greater confidence – this is useful for drain work and helps keep the image clearer for longer. It also means that the environment has little impact on being able to use this camera – wet weather conditions are no barrier, and this can still be used safely. The unit has all the high-quality extras you’re looking for including 8 LED lights and comes with a decent rigid cable (16.5ft) in total. You also get a 32GB SD card – an upgrade to a bigger one is probably recommended – depending on how often you are planning to use this camera.Any negatives? The build quality feels cheap. For the price point, this ultra-plastic built camera looks a bit like a child’s toy. You don’t get that sense that you’ve invested in a decent bit of kit by looking at it and you have less confidence it will survive a fall. There is an overall lack of focus and the inability to control the optics is a major contributing factor to this – although you can achieve a decently sharp image overall, this is not the case as soon as you need to focus on any detail.Overall, a definite improvement on the previous model – however, some niggles remain.

Well made and good picture quality
This camera comes very well packed in to a hard plastic case and includes a charging cable, SD card and some accessories. The case of the unit feels strong and durable. The instructions are okay and do help a bit to figure out the not very intuitive controls on the unit. The 3 camera version I have has a main camera on the front and then two more cameras at 90 degrees to this one.Picture quality is very good. The screen is a good size and the cameras have bright LEDs which can be adjusted to give the required amount of illumination. The probe is very long and can be pre bent to fit into the space to be inspected. Focus length of the cameras is quite short but very appropriate for this application. Adding the accessories allows you to run cables or retrieve lost items and so on. You can take photos or video of your inspection for further use - the quality is again very good. There is the facility to adjust the orientation of the picture with a button press which can help if the probe gets twisted on insertion or you are struggling to see what is going on. Battery life seems to be very good at around 3 or 4 hours. My only issue initially was with the very unintuitive button markings, but after a few minutes of trying I did work it out and now I have no problem. So overall I am giving this 5 stars. It is well made and comes protected in a case with some decent accessories. Battery life and picture quality are excellent and it comes with everything needed to get going right out of the box.
