Ainfox Shampoo Barber Backwash Chair, ABS Plastic Shampoo Bowl Sink Chair for Spa Beauty Salon (Black)

So I recently opened my own barber shop and I needed something quick in a pinch. I ordered this item on a whim and it was actually really great! The bowl is plastic but has not only a neck rest but also a head rest inside of the bowl. The bowl is a soft rectangle shape rather than round which is amazing because it allows for more room for clients with longer hair. It doesn't feel confined or colostrophobic. It has predrilled holes on the back of the base which is amazing because my plumbing did not come out of the flooring. It has a small plastic shelf insert which can come out in the event you need to perform maintenance. It comes with cement anchors to keep it in place. I have wood floors so I just used construction screws. You will need to anchor it to the floor because of the shape and the way that weight comes into the seat. It acts like a seesaw if it's not mounted. It comes with its own hoses and P trap. I have to say... Out of all of the materials used, the handle and faucet are the best quality. The faux leather is nice and form fitted to the entire item. No creases or blemishes. Assembly was very straight forward. We had it together in less than an hour. Is this my final shampoo bowl? No. Will it work as my starter bowl? Absolutely.

My shop chair broke with leakage and I have been looking for a replacement but all are very expensive. I came accross this ads and decided to order from here. I can't be happier as the chair is very sturdy wood built, I got great compliments from my clients already with this comfortable chair. It came with drain hoses, faucets as completed. Price is very decent ! Another plus is the chair is leather with easy cleaning. The head stand is comfortable with support by a soft rubber silicone like. Overall, decent chair for my use.

Very surprised!!! I was on a extremely tight budget for bowls. I had only 2 weeks to come up with a shampoo room so the pressure was on. I went on a limb and closed my eyes and just bought these. They shipped rather quickly. Easy set up. Only thing was there was no way to anchor these to the floor..So what we did was customized inside wood across abd put 3 cinder blocks inside and closed it off. Worked perfectly they dont move or flip. TRUST ME YOU HAVE TO ANCHOR! but very comfortable and is a great choice to get you started.

Works well. Seems like chair needs slightly lowered as most people have to scoot down in it a bit to be sitting right. Other than that, great quality. Has worked really well so far.

I will do my best to be as fair as possible in this review. I traveled 15 hours one way to help my daughter setup her first salon so I needed things to work right the first time so I could move on to other tasks. First impressions were that the chair part is heavy, solid and well built however the hardware seems cheap and of poor quality. The instruction sheet needs help also. We started putting it together and found the side arms needed to be pulled in with a moderate amount of force to attach to the side, you will need 2 people for this and one needs some upper body strength. In the end I have no serious complaints about the chair part. Plumbing is a different story. I installed the plumbing per the instructions however 1 hose would not thread onto the back flow preventer. I reached out to Anifox however I think there customer support is off shore and because of the time difference it will take 8 - 12 hours to get a reply. While waiting for CS to answer I visited 2 hardware stores and a plumbing supply store to try and find parts locally however nobody could match the hose. The plumbing supply suggested going to a beauty supply shop down the street. The beauty supply had a hose that would thread onto the back flow preventer but needed an adapter to fit onto the hot / cold water control valve. I asked if they sold the whole plumbing kit and they did so I bought it ($140) Back at the salon the new plumbing is installed and works GREAT but in short order a leak developed in the drain hose assembly that came with the chair. I determined the problem was that the drain hose was cheaply made and would not tighten up on the drain of the sink. Every time it got snug the threads would skip. So a trip back to the beauty supply shop for a drain hose ($10.00) back to the salon this hose tightens up and now all is well. It took two days and $150.00 to get this thing working properly, it should have taken half a day and no extra money. At some point CS responded that they would send another hose but since I had already bought the kit they would reimburse us $10.00 if I sent them the invoice. My response was I had to spend money for a new drain hose as well and felt as if they should refund the purchase price for all the trouble or at least reimburse us for the money spent to make the chair work. There response was they would give us a complete refund of the purchase price and pay for shipping if we would return the chair. I wonder what part of the chair is now working they didn't understand? I take no pleasure in writing a negative review and would prefer that everything worked as designed. I feel as if it all comes down to poor quality control and everybody considering the purchase of this chair should carefully consider there options.

Bought it as a gift to a friend who owns a barber shop. Item is heavy but very well packaged when came in. Assemble is smooth. Hooded up to the water and tried it. It was really comfortable with decent quality. This is good value buy comparing with other thousand dollar brand. My friend really likes it!

The chair itself is awesome! However the plumbing is awful . It is for washing so why in the world would it come with clip together pipes is beyond me because the water just leaks when it’s draining and one of the hoses is broken above the screw so the water shoots out the top . The plumbing materials for this should’ve been way more efficient and dependable especially for the amount of money .

Really Iam upset from the cheap quality of this sink. Don’t buy and don’t waste your money. Sink is plastic OMG. Iam disappointed I hope if there’s a zero star
