I stumbled upon this product back in 2016, I think it was in a Birchbox. I tried it on my legs on a whim and the next day, my legs were tan and flawless (accept for a portion I didn’t rub in properly). Since then, I have been using this only on my face and neck for years, bc I don’t sun my face. I put it on a clean face a few hours before bedtime and wake up with a nice subtle color. Make sure to rub it in well in circular motions into your hairline and face and down your neck and wipe off your eyebrows or the skin stains under them! Always wash hands after applying. It’s honestly the best facial tanner, and the natural ingredients double as a wonderful nighttime moisturizer! I apply it every 3 days and people always say my skin looks flawless and younger. If I apply it two times, I can even skip face makeup the next day! I LOVE this product! There is a smell after a few hours but it goes away when you wash your face.

My absolute favorite self tanner! I’ve re-purchased it multiple times. Beautiful color, even results if applied with care, long-lasting. It’s also nearly odorless and dries down quickly. Love it!

I have used many gradual self tanners over the years. I mainly like to put a coat on my legs after I take a shower in the summer months. It makes me feel more confident having just a little more color to my legs and it covers small imperfections like spider veins. Vita Liberata is the best tanner I have used so far. It absorbs nicely. It gives a pleasant natural color and even better yet it does NOT smell bad like many other tanners can.

Easy to use. Gives nice tan color. Can deepen with multiple use. Need mitt to appt. Difficult to apply to face unless using hands or small applicator

My skin is between olive & neutral, so I've shied away from self tanners with DHA because they always end up developing into something way too brassy/orange to look natural on me. I'm not sure if it's the quality of the DHA, or just that the ingredient will never work with my skin type... Anyhow, someone recommended this one to me as being "better" and more suited for olive/neutral skin. Yeah, it's not. At least not for me. Easy to use, moisturizing and non-streaky, and I love that it has no scent. But it is just as unsuitable as all the other self-tanners that I've tried.

I want to start this by saying I’m an experienced sunless tanner (20 some years). This is not a review by an inexperienced person with light skin expecting miracles. I’m really disappointed in Vita Liberata. I applied it to my clean exfoliated body and let it dry before putting on my night clothes. This morning I’m orange and blotchy. The product does not soak in and I feel like I have a slimy film on my body. I’m embarrassed and will scrub my body and try to wear covering clothing until the color wears off. And despite washing my hand immediately after application my palms are discolored (orange) and my nail beds look dirty and brown. I would not recommend this product.
