The brackets work much better than some of the cobbled together mounts I've seen. Keeping the sensor in a fixed position is key to repeatable performance.

Eh, for less than 2.50/sensor it's pretty reasonable accuracy, and pretty easy code for Arduino. If you want mm accuracy this will not cut it. But +/- an inch over several feet is good for the price.

Works as expected with the Arduino platform.

I bought two packages of these 5pc sensors for my son's science project team. All of them work well. Very fair price. The pin layouts are good and the circuits are well soldered. -1 points because it doesn't come with mounting adapter for each of the sensors.

Mainly bought it for the ultrasonic sensor holders which fit amazingly

I needed these to sense the level of my rain water tanks and they worked well enough to give me an accurate enough water level.

I bought an OpenGarage unit a few months ago, and that project uses an HC-SR04 like these. The one in the OpenGarage project simply stopped working - and many comments online say that HC-SR05 modules are semi-reliable at best. The replacement was super-simple - and I have 4 more if and when this might fail. Now everything is working as well as new! Very Happy Me

These are very economical for hobby and experimentation. There is a slight difference between the five units in the close range readings and sensitivity when the devices are used for measuring distance. Otherwise good value for non-critical applications.
