A good, inexpensive wireless mouse and keyboard combo
This wireless mouse and keyboard combo is a good budget option if you want low-profile, lightweight and portable peripherals for easy typing on-the-go, and is inexpensive enough to not worry too much about breaking it! This was the main reason I purchased this, after the recipient broke a MUCH more expensive Apple keyboard and refused to pay the price to replace it - and wanted a black set instead of white. As for general usage, the typing and mouse using experience is decent for the price-point, and is akin to most low profile keyboard found in budget laptops, etc. Key spacing, key travel and the keyboard height all make for a reasonably pleasant typing experience for general usages (Word processing, web browsing, etc), but won't suffice for specific and/or heavy usages, such as gaming, graphic design, coding, excel/sheets processing, etc. Due to the materials (and price) it doesn't feel premium (which you shouldn't expect at this price!), but if you want a keyboard that is lightweight, durable enough for regular use and slim enough to easily throw in a backpack, briefcase or handbag, this combo keyboard is a good budget option. Just as an extra note, as with all my mouse and keyboard reviews, this review was written using the keyboard in question, to demonstrate that every common key works exactly as it should!

Decent Budget Keyboard & Mouse Combo
This keyboard and mouse was simple to install. Insert the wireless dongle into any available USB-A port on your system and insert 2 x AAA batteries into the keyboard, and 1 x AA into the mouse. You're ready to go. The keyboard is a decent compact size - the only issue I have with it is that the arrow keys and the enter key are rather small. This may, or may not be an issue for you. It also has no ability to elevate the back or the keyboard. The key travel is nice, and it's not too 'squishy' - you can feel the keys hitting the bottom of travel. They feel like membrane switches, but they're still pretty decent for this price point, and the legends are easy to read. They are transfers rather then moulded-in though, so after an extended period of use (a couple of years or so of daily use), you can probably expect that they will start to wear off. The mouse is quite low profile. The scroll wheel does look nice - being made from knurled aluminium - however, I do find it offers less grip than some more rubberised scroll wheels, and I find my finger skidding on it more than I would like. Perhaps an issue of form over function. Perhaps it's just because I'm used to grippier scroll wheels. Your fingers may have more grip my dry old digits. For a budget priced desktop combo, you could do a lot worse than this - just bear in mind my comments about the arrow and enter keys, and the aluminium scroll wheel.

In a light usage situation it's fine but for me would not be suitable as a Primary combo.
Disclaimer - I have a small older PC plugged in at one end of my front room which is hooked up to the large TV via HDMI and I'm using it for that. So I am about 8 feet away from the dongle. Sitting on my couch and this may be something to do with it re signal dropouts? I don't know but below is my honest review. For clarity I wouldn't have bought this as a main keyboard and mouse combo, Just as convenience to watch catchup TV using chrome with adblockers etc. Or selecting a spotify channel and letting it play through the HI-Fi. So it really doesn't have a lot of usage. Prior to this I had been using Real VNC from my laptop to the PC but thats annoying when your playing a game or something and I have to alt+tab to sort out the TV. The mouse is very temperamental for me and only works on one surface - my coffee table - but not on my mouse mat.. So this means I always have to lean forward from the couch.. Very odd. And the keyboard, drops letters now and again.. And weirdly drops keys all the time when it's on my knee? Like the mouse it only works fluidly on the table. There is only a 2ft or so distance from the table to the couch so I don't see how that could be the problem but I'm not going to start sitting on the floor at the other end of the room to test it :D I used the Amazon Haul £11 Discount Code and a couple off quid off my gift vouchers so it didn't cost anything. And for my light usage purpose it does mostly work. But I have to give only 3 stars as when it does drop and jerk on the screen or I have to wait to input a letter its getting damned annoying. And no - This review is not written using the keyboard and mouse as I feel I would have had backache leaning forward to type all this and didn't want to deal with dropouts so this is done from my laptop :)

Premium looking with an easy setup
It looks better than its pictures, quite a premium looking product that performs as well. It was easy to setup and I was able to use it in a matter of seconds. The keys have just the right kind of softness and typing is a breeze. I used it on my laptop and on my android tv from a distance and was impressed that both mouse and keyboard work from a distance. Happy with my purchase.

A nice action from keys.
Not had it long but it is very responsive and has a good 'feel' when being used.

Doesn’t work - very disappointing
I bought this item in April Based on the reviews. I tried it with some batteries we had at home and it didn’t work so I presumed it was due to the batteries. I eventually got round to buying some new batteries last week and the item still doesn’t work. Nothing happens when you switch it on. Unfortunately I have now passed the date for being able to return this item and there doesn’t seem to be any guarantee with it. Very disappointing. I don’t recommend buying.

Can't find a way to contact the seller...
I brought this as a gift back in May, and for the first few months the keyboard and mouse worked great. However, the mouse has recently stopped working (not connecting to the receiver properly - sometimes the mouse will work for a few minutes if you wiggle the receiver, but then it will stop again). I've tried to find a way to contact the seller through Amazon to talk about the issue, however there is no message option and unfortunately the return window has closed, so can't request this.
