Helps my senior dogs!
Amazing product recommendation by our vet. Our senior dogs act like puppies now. There living a much happier life with much more comfort. Better price then other similar products. Typically put it in food to make it batter to take and taste.

Giving it to our dog as a preventative measure
It's hard to say whether these really work or not. Supplements like this are Credence Goods. What I can say with confidence is that my dog is almost 10 has been taking them for the last 4 years and has very few issues with joint stiffness. We're taking this more as a preventative measure, to fight join aging. Once the dog stops moving as much, then things go downhill.

Love it
It works. My old dog can jump on the couch again. He loves the taste and is running again. My vet recommended it so we tried it and it works. I even ordered the cat variety to see if it helps my old cat.

Went back to the soft chews
The only reason I did not give this product 5 stars is because of the affect it had on my little guys belly when compared to the soft chews. When my 8 yr old miniature pinscher began having lameness in his rear legs, specifically one that he had previously had surgery on to repair a torn ligament when he was a puppy, we thought he needed something a bit stronger than the cosequin he was already on. Our veterinary technician mentioned that Nutramax had come out with a new product called Dasuquin with MSM. The transition was seemless and he was started on the maintenance level of Dasuquin soft chews immediately because he had already been on the cosequin for a number of years. No change in the first couple of months but after about three months we saw an obvious improvement. The arthritis we believed he was afflicted with in his rear legs became less of an issue after long naps, or long walks. He seemed to bounce back to his old self. While he wouldn't eat the soft chew by itself, as he seemed to know it was medicine, we would mix it with his food each day and he seemed fine with it. However we needed to add a bit more food than we would have liked in order to disguise the chew. We thought the chew tabs would be a better option once the bag of soft chews was finished. Upon switching to the chew tabs it quickly became apparent that his stomach did not agree with the change. Within a half hour of taking the chew tab/food mixture, he would promptly throw up his entire breakfast. We quickly switched back to the soft chews and have had no problems since. Still haven't figured out why his little belly prefers the soft chews to the chew tabs but we are still very happy with all the progress he has made. Rainy days still tend to make him a bit stiff but the Dasuquin soft chews with MSM seems to be the perfect fit for his needs. I highly recommend all Nutramax products as they seem to be the only product that provided any relief to our little guy, but the Dasuquin with MSM is a great product for those dogs who need a bit more help dealing with symptoms of arthritis and lameness.

So Glad I Found Out About This Supplement!!!!!!!!!!
I have been using this on my 8yr old very small toy poodle, for the past 4 days, who has a luxating patella and hip problems. This morning when she woke up, she was rolling around on her back and acting like a happy, playful puppy again--something I hadn't seen her do in a long, long time. This evening when we went for our 2nd daily walk around the block, she did not start hopping on 3 feet, halfway through, as she has done in the past. I attribute this to the use of this product. I have used other brands of liquid Glucosamine mixtures and even used to crush up a few human grade pills that I take myself, mix it up with yogurt and ground flax or peanut butter, to give to her. Now I can use something that was researched by experts and it really shows in the benefit to my dog so soon. I am so relieved that she feels better and I am thinking this just might keep her from having a painful, extremely expensive surgery--that may or may not even be effective in the first place. I read one comment about this by someone who was upset at the price (how pet owners should feel guilty about people in poor countries, etc). Yes, it isn't the cheapest thing out there to buy, but IT IS WORKING and as I only have to give my dog 1/2 a tablet per day, so that's about $200 for 4 bottles per year vs as high as $8,000 for surgery (from what I have read elsewhere). And as a vet who used to work at the pet hospital that I go to told me, "human medicine FOLLOWS veterinary medicine--what we use on pets that works, is then investigated for human use." So, in a way, by using this on our pets, we are contributing to research that will help everyone. Sounds like a winning situation for everyone.

Impressed with this Dog Health Supplement
This is a very solid purchase because of its user-friendly format. The chewable tablet form makes it easy to serve. It's perfect for my little buddy under 60 lbs. The seal of 'Veterinarian Recommended' gives it credibility. What really sets it apart are the globally sourced ingredients. It's a high-quality, premium supplement, manufactured right here in the United States. If you're looking after your dog's joint health, this is definitely worth considering.
