Works as advertised (and you may be able to get away with not having a neutral)
I just finished adding a couple of DD0SR-DZL switches in combination with DW15S-1BZ switches (these are Leviton's WiFi switches, but this review should also work with their hub based switches like z-wave). Some general observations... - I found the switches to work exactly as advertised. Note, they do require a cover plate, but they come with both white and cream colored switch plates. - These are secondary switches which work with master switches in 3-way and 4-way circuits. YOU MUST ALSO HAVE THE APPROPRIATE MASTER SWITCH. - I find the switches to be solid with good wiring connections. They feel better designed for American circuits than some cheaper Chinese switches I've installed. - As others have noted, they do require a neutral wire. However, at least with a 3-way circuit, if you have a neutral at one switch box in the circuit, you still should be able to make it work with a little thought. See my comment in the questions section. - I added these to work with Amazon Echo. Connecting the master wifi switches to Echo was simple and quick. - This biggest problem I had was finding space in the electrical box that holds the switch. The switch itself is larger than the equivalent non-smart switch. It still fits in but takes away space from the mass of wires you have in the electrical box. Add the additional wire(s) for the neutral, and I was running out of space to fit everything in. I did do it, but it was a pain. Note, I'm betting a professional electrician has the experience and knowledge of how to pack everything into the box easily, I just didn't have that experience (although it got a little better as I went on).

Do not use with Wink! If you have Wink, switch to Samsung
Update August 2020. With Wink switching to a monthly subscription model in July 2020, I ditched them and switched to a Samsung Smart Things Hub. I have had zero issues the last month. In fact, there is less lag using Samsung. I am now able to use all of my Leviton switches now without needing to reset them every few days. Wish I ditched Wink years ago! I made the mistake of replacing 15 switches in my home using Leviton Z-wave switches (which includes slave switches and dimmers). I have yet to have all switches working with the Wink app at the same time. They constantly go off line. I've factory reset every switch and reprogrammed them all more times than I want to admit and I've moved the hub to 3 different locations. Yet they "off line" issue continues. I know it's not my wink hub as I have other z-wave devices linked to my hub that I've had zero issue with. Reading other reviews and doing some Google searches I see others have the same issues. Thankfully they function as normal switches, but at over $40 a piece it's a complete rip off for a "z-wave" switch that functions like a $3 regular switch. Don't make the same mistake I did, stay away from these garbage switches. I'm sure a class action lawsuit will be in Levitons future

Great Product, just make sure select the correct companion switch
This is a great product that is NOT available in local stores. DIY makeshift electricians need to know this is a companion switch to the WiFi Leviton dimmer. It will work in any 3way or 4way wired circuit, but will need a wired common wire in the primary location for the primary dimmer. Old homes may not be wired with a common. Read the compatibility list on the primary dimmer before ordering. There are 2-3 variations of this companion switch. I have over 10 3way or 4way circuits in my home. I have made this mistake once in reordering. I will not do it again. The wiring diagrams are okay, if you know more than then the fundamentals of house wiring. I needed a wire tracer for one of my 4way circuits. Also these are not standard STDP switches. If you don't know what that means, hire an electrician!

works well.
Upgraded whole house from contractor grade toggles to mix of smart and dumb decora switches. List of models bought/used (cheat sheet) Smart switches ================================================================================== Leviton D26HD-2RW : Decora Smart Wi-Fi Dimmer (2nd Gen) Leviton DD00R-DLZ : Decora companion for D26HD & DDL06-1LZ in 3-way applications Leviton D215P-2RW : Decora Smart Wi-Fi Mini Plug-In Switch (2nd Gen) [1] Leviton D23LP-2RW : Decora Smart Wi-Fi Mini Plug-In Dimmer (2nd Gen) [2] Leviton DW4SF-1BW : Decora Smart 4 speed fan controller [3] Non-Smart (dumb) switches ================================================================================== Leviton 5601-2WM : Decora Rocker Single Pole AC Quiet Switch [4] Leviton DDL06-1LZ : Decora Rocker 3-Way AC Quiet Switch, Digital Dimmer Leviton DD00R-DLZ : Decora companion for D26HD & DDL06-1LZ in 3-way applications Leviton 5685-2W : Decora Plus Rocker, SPDT, Center off, Maintained contact [5] Leviton LTB60-1LZ : Decora 1800W Incandescent/20A Resistive-Inductive 1HP Preset 10-20-30-60 Minute Timer [6] Lutron MSCL-OP153MH: Motion Sensor & dimmable (occupancy sensor) [7] Specials ================================================================================== Leviton R12-80700-2w : blank toggle fill-in [8] Other Notes ================================================================================== Leviton IPF01-1LZ : Fan Speed Control, didn't use, used DW4SF instead. [1] Used for on/off floor lamp [2] Used for night stand lamp [3] Had this and Leviton IPF01-1LZ IllumaTech 1.5A Quiet Step Preset Fan Speed Control, but liked this one so much more I use this even in places I wanted a "dumb" fan speed controller. [4] Used for replacing toggle switches that don't need to be smart [5] Used for bathroom fan light hi/lo [6] Used for bathroom fan on/off [7] Used in laundry room, walk-in closets & pantry areas where these is no lights and your hands are likely full [8] Some house upgrades elimated the need to switches (they use hand help remotes), so for these instead of leaving a dummy switch in place that did nothing, I replaced when with these and their decora equivalent.

As I write this review, the title for this product is incorrect and it was not searchable. I have provided feedback to Amazon. (it is NOT A DSL06-1LZ) THIS IS A DD00R-DLZ COMPANION DIMMER and it must be used in conjunction with a main Leviton Digital/Smart dimmer (see compatibility chart in item description). It works perfectly with a z-wave DZ6HD as the main digital dimmer. I have many DD00R companion dimmers installed in 3way and 4way applications and they have performed flawlessly for several years. I control the main DZ6HD dimmer with a Hubitat hub. I will update the review if the title changes and it becomes searchable.

This on/off remote switch (Leviton part number DD0SR-DLZ) is specifically designed for use with the Leviton DZ15S on/off wall switch, to create a 3-way switch arrangement. This remote switch functions perfectly for that purpose. I have several that have been working reliably for many years. Wiring the main switch and this remote switch using the existing house wiring can often require some time to figure out how the function of the existing wiring, and imagination to adapt the existing wiring to the way these devices are designed to work. As with all these types of switches, both a "hot" and a "neutral" wire are required for operation of both the main and remote switches. Most of the negative reviews posted here deal with various network (WiFi or Z-Wave) connectivity issues - all of which are directly related to functioning of the main switch, and are not relevant to this remote switch.

Works perfectly with the DZ15S-1BZ, easy to install.
