I gave this 5-STARS, because it did arrive in good condition, on time, and is as described. I purchased this because it's supposed to LOWER Cholesterol with a PLANT BASED Product. Which is ALL TRUE. However, I just found out Red Yeast Rice is in LEGAL LIMBO, with the FDA in Court, SUING this is NOT just a Supplement, - but an UNREGISTERED Rx DRUG, - because it contains the SAME compound as STATIN, which IS A Rx DRUG. Another issue is the Amount of Active Ingredient in this Red Yeast Rice, which VARIES by which variant of Yeast and How the Yeast is grown on What kind of Rice. This product does not ID either the Yeast nor the Rice, so there's NO WAY to tell. STATIN is a FDA Rx Drug, and CAN be Overdosed, with possible BAD Consequences. Sp. that means this can ALSO be OVERDOSED too. But there's NO WAY to predict that with this product. If I knew all this befpre hamd, I would NOT have purchased this item.
