Fits the bowl of the coffee handle perfectly and solidly. I like the spring loading so get a good feedback that the coffee is tamped down nicely. Quality machined item and has a bit of weight to it so feels and looks quality item.

Seemed expensive. However very quick delivery. Quality is excellent, product has that luxury feel. So worth the money.

Nice weight to it but it fell apart within a couple months of using it The base doesn’t thread into the tamper anymore *UPDATE* NEOUZA contacted me. Apparently the product I received was part of a faulty batch, and they offered to send me a replacement or refund my purchase, which they did within minutes. I update my review to 5 stars for the excellent customer service.

Excellent tamper, makes excellent coffee pucks. The lip on it is perfect for making sure you don't spill any coffee grounds. Metal design and spring are also really strong

This item caught my eye as I like the collar on it like my distribution tool has but this is exactly the same as my 2 in 1 distribution tool in the fact that it is not sprung. This is a regular tamper with a sprung collar and not a calibrated sprung tamper which are specifically designed so that you can't over tamp your coffee. If you want a nice collared tamper that allows you to tamp to any depth because the collar is movable, then this is quite nice, but if you are looking for a calibrated tamper, this is not it. I don't know why I wanted a calibrated one anyway as I weigh the coffee anyway so the depth set on my tamper tool means I don't over tamp anyway but this just looked the part for me.

I loved this tamper. It was much nicer to use than the one bundled with my Sage Barista Pro... Until it fell to pieces. It looks like the metal of the base is too soft as the threads have worn away. Perhaps this wear could be avoided by ensuring that the base is screwed on tightly. However, the spring loaded nature of the tamper tends to mask any play in the base, so it's not obvious that it needs tightening. *Update* I contacted Neouza and they are sending a replacement. Apparently there was a manufacturing fault in one of the batches. I have amended the rating from 1 to 3 stars for the excellent customer service. I will re-rate once the replacement tamper arrives.

Perfect, just what I wanted!

The tamper standard head depth is the same as the Sage razor which means that when you first place it on the portafilter it compresses the coffee gently to the razor depth. A gentle press then tamps the coffee which means that the coffee is lower than scraping with the razor. I have however had better results using this than with the sage tamp and razor - its heavy and easy to use

Rien à dire de mal sur ce tamper, solide, fabrication soigné, efficace à l'usage et bien mieux qu'un tamper simple. Nivelle parfaitement grâce à sa conception le café dans le panier de mon porte filtre 58mm. Les matériaux utilisé son de bonne facture et bien réglé il fait des miracles. Je le recommande, j'ajoute que ce n'est pas un marteau donc de la douceur devrais lui donner une longue vie.
